   Although the teppanyaki experience was amazing and the food from there was delicious, there was a lot to be said about the service.

   The sake tasted like honey, the salad was almost frozen (clearly made that and dressed that morning and out in fridge) the rice was super bland on hibachi and by the time we got our protein - all other food was cold. Not worth the price AT ALL.

   It was definitely a good time for a crowd like we had. The manager was so nice, funny and friendly. He tried his best to make up for how long it took to get our drinks. Every time we ordered, it was seriously like 15 minutes before we received them. That was even while we sat at the bar before we got to our table. It was my boyfriend and our son’s birthdays. We told multiple people. Other people got a song and the regular birthday treatment. We never got it. The food was decent though, I have had much better. I never had hibachi rice without any flavor before. All the waitstaff were very friendly. I don’t know. Maybe they were so slow because they were just overwhelmed. We wouldn’t let this experience curb us from returning. We probably just won’t for a special occasion.

   Ordered hot green tea and an Iced tea and had to ask 3 times for sugar. Never offered a refill on either one. Shrimp "appetizer" was the last thing cooked and served. Food was great, service not so much.

   Came here a week prior and was in and out in 45mins on a Tuesday night. This time, on a Monday night, the server was really slow showing up to take orders, and was really slow bringing out drinks; then, the soups and salads arrived 20min later when the chef was ready to start cooking; the chef was slow, cooking everything one at a time (finished veggies and onions before even putting meat on the grill); the mushrooms were undercooked; then, the server was really slow taking dessert orders and delivering them. This meal took 2 hours and everyone at the table was getting impatient.

    My wife and I were visiting Dallas for my birthday weekend. We wanted hibachi and happened to find Benihana. I quickly made a reservation for 6:00pm. We arrived promptly at 5:53pm. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes until we were able to be sat at a Communal seating. The server took our drink orders, but was slow to come back with the soup and salad. The chef finally came and he was rather slow in cooking all the foods. I’ve never had my chicken cooked last after everyone’s steak?!? Not to mention by the time I got my chicken, my rice was cold (if you’re like me, you want to eat everything at one time). I didn’t like there wasn’t a mixture of vegetables, only zucchini and onions. Afterwards, when we our receipt, we noticed we were charged for chicken fried rice. We thought it was just normal fried rice like any other hibachi we’ve visited. No biggie we ate the rice, however just be mindful you will be charged for chicken fried rice, not sure if you can request it without chicken? Overall, the food was good and we had leftovers. Oh and the strawberry lemonade was sooo good! We were there for about an hour and a half which is a little longer than when we typically go to hibachi. Yes we would go back and would recommend!
