   Bentleys is an exceptional restaurant we frequent on special occasions. The valentines selection was perfect and the food was mouthwatering. We paired with a delicious cab. This is one of charlotte’s finest.

   My wife and I had a great Valentine's dinner at Bentley's. The hostess was very friendly and professional when we arrived, and we were seated in about 5-7 minutes with a reservation. The servers were excellent and very knowledgeable, the food was fantastic and came out after a short wait. My wife had the small twin steak bites, and I had the oysters on the fixed Valentine's menu for an appetizer. My wife had the scallops and I had the ribeye for the main course and we ended up taking our deserts home since we wanted to share those with our kids. Bentley's is a great restaurant but it is very pricey to say the least.

   Dinner was outstanding and specially Hanna’s service, she was professional but not stuck up, she was very knowledgeable about the wine list and very cordial and helpful

   We had a wonderful meal. The menu is packed with incredible option and the wine list is endless. I highly recommend Bentleys for a special night out.

   The meal was amazing. The chef never disappoints. Consistently wonderful. Our only complaint is on the wine list price. There are a lot of wonderful upscale restaurants in town that offer a better priced wine list by the glass. $18-20 is not the norm in Charlotte and most establishments have at least one day a week for 1/2 of wines by the bottle. We want to have Bentleys in our rotation for semi monthly dinners, but at $225 for two people, we just can’t. Again, the fish is the best in Charlotte, but the drinks very expensive.

    First visit. $360 meal 2 people. Expected a high end experience walking in. Restaurant was not busy and we had reservations, but were seated in a dark back corner of the bar. Said something about the table being dark when we were seated expecting an offer to change but none was given. Didn’t continue to push for a table change since we weren’t familiar with the restaurant. No mocktails like other high end and mid-range restaurants. Bartender seemed irritated I even asked. He made one up for me (lime and ginger beer) after a couple of rounds of push back. Main server was pleasant but not very attentive for this type of restaurant. Loaded Oysters Bentley appetizer and Mac and cheese side were both delicious. Duck, however, was very undercooked which made it very chewy. Brought it home to cook more. Elk was just ok. The table side stuffed crepes were still frozen in the middle even after heating in the fire pan. High quality restaurant that did not deliver a high quality experience. Won’t be back.
