Big Bear Brewing Co. opened its doors in July of 1997. Our concept was based on serving fresh brewed beer with quality and creative food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. When we opened, brewpubs were expanding throughout the country. Since then, the brewpub concept has slowed, but not Big Bear. We like to think of our very loyal guests as family, and after 20 years that family continues to grow. We have a strong foundation in this community and are very proud of that achievement. Behind the scenes of any successful restaurant is a devoted staff… we have many who have been with us since the beginning. Consistency breeds success and for that we thank our crew.

    We were seated within a few minutes of our reservation. Our server Michael was attentive. Food came out hot and everything was as ordered. Would definitely recommend

    The reservation was made for my wife, daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. They all said the food and service were great! We always enjoy this place and it's one of our go-to restaurants for sure.

    As always the drinks were prepared perfectly The food just gets even better each time I visit Big Bear. ( I dine there frequently) The most consistent restaurant ever!!

    Took my wife and she loved it. Food was delicious. We had the calamari, volcano shrimp and ribs. If you go try the house draft Kodiak Belgian Dubbel

    We requested a table but were seated in a booth when I questioned this was told they were putting several table together for a larger party not even 5min later that table right next to where we were seated 3 people were seated there I ordered coconut shrimp which was cold and burnt I sent it back and they remade the order it had no taste they cleared table for desert and we had to tell waiter to please remove rest of dishes from table very overpriced for what we had 4 entrees one appetizer I beer 2 sodas 147 no free refills on root beer won't be returning

    We love Big Bear Brewery and always go when we are near there about 30 miles from our home. The food is always delicious. Today they offered a special “new” old fashioned with bourbon and Cabernet that was a very tasty surprise. Mushroom soup on Thursday’s is scrumptious. It’s where I discovered craft beer over a decade ago.
