Terrible food. 6pm reservation and they did not have either of two soups on a Saturday night. No Modelo beer. Fried calamari were chewy like thick rubber bands. Ceasar salad was ok. Bread cold, stale. They had a special crawfish etouffee. I asked if it was prepared with a brown roux and was told it was. The dish came out cold with an orange sauce that had no Cajun seasoning. It had very small crawfish tails and four whole cool crawfish. It was served on a ball/clump of cool and sweet coconut rice. It was definitely plated with an ice cream scoop. I sent it back and was not charged for this. I ordered a whole 1.5 lb steamed lobster. It took almost a half hour to get my lobster. It was cool. When I tore the tail from the body water poured out. I took one bite after struggling to cut a piece off with a steak knife. It was watery, stringy and chewy. I sent it back and did not order anything else. My wife ordered a filet which she enjoyed. Service staff was very nice. Food quality and kitchen staff skills are lacking. Will not ever go back or recommend. This was to be a celebratory dinner so we were ok spending more than our usual. Very poor quality and zero value.

We had booked a table for 6 for a Friday night several weeks prior to our arrival. We were sat in an empty private room, which was a nice plus because we were entertaining clients. However, soon after we sat down, a group of 30+ local lawyers took the tables surrounding us to celebrate a new partner joining the firm. It was funny at first. They would start shouting and screaming and doing toasts. They were having a blast. We thought it would eventually stop, but the group kept getting louder and louder and louder to the point we could barely talk across the table. We tried to ask the manager to move us to an open booth in the main dining area once it become unbearable, but he refused because our group was "Only 6 people, and a booth holds 10". Laughable response considering we were racking up a big dinner bill. We have eaten at the Big Fin many times for client dinners and had GREAT experiences. But this was an ABSOLUTE CIRCUS and EMBARRASSING. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to accommodate us but shrug their shoulders and say sorry. I think they were as confused as we were. If this happens again, just offer to move a group to the main dining area. HOWEVER, THE BIG FIN IS GREAT. THE FOOD IS GREAT. OUR WAITRESS WAS NICE. AND WE HAVE HAD MANY, MANY GOOD DINNERS THERE AND WILL KEEP COMING BACK. HOPEFULLY THEY CAN LEARN FROM THIS AND HOPEFULLY YOU DON'T BOOK A TABLE ON THE SAME NIGHT 30 LAWYERS COME ROLLING IN TO THROW A PARTY.

Service was good but food was overpriced for the quality. Clam chowder soup tasted like canned soup. Some of the entrees we had were good, but extremely overpriced for the quality.

Everything was delicious. Oysters Rockefeller to start and blackened grouper. My husband had lobster ravioli. Highly recommend.

Food was good. Service was not. I had made a note in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and no one acknowledged that. Our food came and they didn’t bring us the tools we needed for the lobster and we had to flag down a random waiter as we hadn’t seen our waitress in over 10 min. We didn’t get offered any pepper or parmesean when our meals came. It took them a while to bring our bill. The area we were in there were only 3 other tables and otherwise all the tables were empty so I can’t imagine they were too busy. We noted the table beside us ordered their food before we even sat down and by the time we finished eating their meals finally came (after hearing them complain a few times about not receiving their food yet). Overall for the price point I would have expected way better service (especially for a birthday dinner). The food was good but otherwise in general we were disappointed.
