Dine on fresh sustainably-sourced seafood, wild game meats and more. Our casual setting and inviting atmosphere is ideal for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family.

Big Fish offers food such as a seafood chowder, smoked oyster sliders or chili-glazed frog legs that make for flavorful appetizers. Guests can feast on an entrée of pan-roasted walleye with wilted spinach, fish tacos topped with tomato-mango salsa or a lamb and lobster burger. An oyster bar as well as delicious house-made desserts are also available.

Open Range embodies the essence of our city; cutting edge, but comfortable and unpretentious. Open Range mixes modern with tradition, serving every cut you would expect but preparing them with interesting variations of flavours. We offer locally raised beef, elk, bison and game prepared in an easy going Southwestern style. We are one of Calgary's premier steakhouses with multiple awards and accolades.

Very nice place for a great food and service. Had a business lunch on a Friday and the place was perfect, quiet and great service. Will go here again as will my friend who had never been before.

menu and photos looked great on open table, but in person very disappointed. Was looking for a quiet meal in a great atmosphere, this did not deliver. when you walk in the lighting is so bright and the decor and layout are very average. Live music was way too loud for dinner and quite annoying. I don’t mind paying premium prices for a special night out with a great atmosphere and great food but this did not deliver unfortunately. I also noticed construction materials piled up near the front entrance which was a nice touch. Eating out is expensive, there are so many other great choices in Calgary, won’t be going back to this one. Unfortunately ruined what was supposed to be a great Valentine’s experience.

Absolutely delicious, gorgeous food! Impeccable service and great comforting atmosphere. Live performance was absolutely incredible and made for a wonderful Valentines Day celebration)

We went to the restaurant for Valentine's Day. Arrived 5 minutes early and were told we were early and our table wasn't ready. 30 minutes later we were seated. Server was very pleasant and helpful but my entree (bison short ribs) arrived cold. I sent it back only to have the replacement arrive colder. In a magnanimous gesture the manager offered to take the entree off the bill, send me home hungry, oh and offered up a dessert. Unacceptable!!! This is not on the server! This is completely on the manager and the kitchen. If you can't serve meals hot, especially on the second try, maybe you should find a different vocation!

We had a table booked for valentines day and when we showed up it was in a closed off corner next to the live music speaker. We asked for another but we're fully booked(understandable) so we left. If would be nice if we could've seen our table options when we booked a reservation

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Marda Loop - I use to go to the Edmonton Trail location when this restaurant first opened up. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food is consistently very good.
