   Family night out - food excellent and so was service however at the end of the evening 11:20pm when we asked for another cocktail we were told the bar was closed. Think we should have been advised beforehand that the bar was closing, otherwise all was very good.

   I thought the food was fine was not worth the price … we only had 2 courses but were asked to leave shortly after as they must be turning over tables.

   We grabbed a quick brunch here on Saturday afternoon, no special occasion.. we loved the brunch menu great value and delicious food. A huge selection to choose from. We would highly recommend.

   We had a lovely meal however we felt a squashed in our seating next time we would prefer a seat in another part of the restaurant too near the kitchen & too tight a squeeze.

    Bijou is a great place to eat and I would score it highly on all fronts (ambiance, food, service, value for money). My husband, who was a restaurant manager in the US for years, is very impressed with the service, which is high praise indeed. When we went there for my mum’s birthday, they were so nice about accommodating the birthday cake we brought, even though they were very busy. The only slight drawback is that the tables upstairs are not very accessible for people with mobility issues, and I didn’t think to ask. I would request a table downstairs in future. In every other respect, it was a top notch dining experience. You really feel like you’re treating yourself, and yet it is very good value.
