   Very nice good, great staff, nice experience, we will be returning The only disappointing issue was they had run out of Adults Roast Beef, kids roast beef and kids hamburgers. However I guess that’s a positive for them!! I don’t know if they have the facility to advance book your request?

   Always such a lovely time at the bird in hand, the roasts were amazing and just a perfect size. We had 2 people that had never been before and are from out of town and they said they can’t wait to come back!

   Went there because I read that it won the "Best pub in Surrey" award. Not in my books. The ambient was very noisy and nothing special, the service very slow and the food was good but no "best in Surrey" good. It was like any other pub. Not sure what happened there but for sure when the bar is set so high, the fall is even bigger.

   We went for my dad’s 80th birthday meal. We had a lovely table with plenty of room As my dad is in a wheelchair. The waitresses were all so friendly . Very helpful . The food was lovely . It was the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you

   Our first visit since it's been refurbished. We were all very impressed with the decor, service and menu. We had a lovely relaxing evening

   Yet another great meal. Ingredients consistently high-quality, presentation lovely and service was friendly, efficient, responsive as always. Fantastic value all round as always.

   A lovely dining experience yet again. Love the way the tables are laid out, so that you don't have other diners sitting listening to your conversations. Food as fabulous as ever and our waitress who looked after us was really happy and helpful. Very much one of my favourite places to dine.

    Once again we had a wonderful meal at the Bird in Hand. We took our friend for a 40th Birthday lunch. The food was first class and the service was top level. Happy Birthday message was added to our friend’s desert plate as a little extra touch. Thanks to Megan and Izzy for their attention to detail. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a really nice meal
