Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

    Great Sunday roast dinning at Blacklock but what happened to the gravy its changed.Its not has tasty and thick now being back the old gravy.

    It's the best place to eat, we've never had a better meal and love it there. Whenever we come to London, we'll always go to Blacklock.

    The service was amazing such love atmosphere, the food was great and so tasty and the bread and butter pudding was to die for. Great night out didn’t know what to expect but well worth it Was even given a cheese cake taster at the end. Will definitely go back again and recommend to family and friends.

    There are some restrictions about time limitations. You can spent time at your table depends on how many people you are such as for 2 people you are allowed to spend an hour, for 3 people half an hour, for 4 people 2 hours. I have never seen like a time limitations in my whole life.

    Really, really amazing food, james/ jim was amazing had a laugh & made it a personal experience, waitress was really good too but didn’t get her name :( , definitely come back next time we are in london!

    Been here a few times over the years and always thought the service was fantastic and food was great. Last few times we have been the service hasn’t been that great, slow and not very personable. Food nice still, but will probably find other steak restaurants to go to now.
