   Absolutely great dining experience. All of the food was perfect and the wine was incredibly reasonably priced. A few little touches made us both feel very special - overall a fantastic meal and evening out.

   Beautiful food! Meat is cooked to perfection, and those roast potatoes are something else!!! Didn’t wait very long at all. Definitely recommend the Beefy Mary costal aswell :)

   Visited in November 2024 and had a fabulous Sunday lunch with excellent service and good quality food, we enjoyed it so much we booked again bringing family with us. Unfortunately this weekends experience was very different. The service was slow and staff were rushing around us, although our waitress was friendly she clearly had too many tables to look after. We ordered a bottle of prosecco as an aperitif and our food was delivered to us at the same time, far to quickly and we felt very rushed as well as trying to order a bottle of red to arrive quickly enough to go with the food. The majority of the food was barely warm and the vegetables were dry and looked like they had been sat under heat lamps for a long time. We asked for an extra jug of gravy but were told we could not have this until we had emptied the current jug. A disappointing visit

   We had the all in roast which was excellent. Superb cheesecake for dessert. Oh and the bloody Mary cocktail started the meal with a kick

   Nice meal with really good service. Have been there twice before, when visiting the UK, but was let down this visit as they had run out of Rib Eye Steaks at 5.30 on a Saturday! Our Server recommended the Rump Cap instead, which was no comparison. It was similar to a Flat Iron steak. It was nice, but if I wanted a Flat Iron Steak, I would have gone to Flat Iron!.

    Blacklock Covent Garden was an absolute treat. The ambience was spot on—warm, inviting, and perfect for a great meal out. The food? Simply delicious. The quality of the meats and the care put into every dish make it well worth the price. I went for the ribeye steak with beef-dripping chips, and it was absolutely divine. Cooked to perfection, every bite was packed with flavor. And that bone marrow sauce? Unreal. It had me wanting more with every bite—rich, indulgent, and the perfect complement to the steak. What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Being gluten intolerant, I was a little worried about my options, but they suggested some tasty alternatives. More specifically that cheesecake without the biscuit? A game-changer. You have to try it! If you’re looking for a place that nails great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe, Blacklock Covent Garden is a must-visit.
