   Such a great restaurant! Food is delicious, service is outstanding. Love that the menu contains items not normally found such as the tasty shrimp & grits, deviled eggs or the hush puppies. Definitely worth an evening out!

   This is our third time here first time for Sunday brunch. The food is consistently outstanding. Today’s service was quite slow but remained very friendly. There seemed to be issues in the kitchen. Despite this, we will return and recommend to others.

I sincerely apologize about the slow service, I can assure you that we always try our best to complete things in a timely manner but due to being a scratch kitchen it sometimes takes a bit longer.    Really appreciate farm to table restaurants like Bloom! I really enjoyed the Apple chicken and mashed potatoes with squash!! It would have been nice if it was a little quieter, but I expected that with the historic building and popularity of the restaurant.

As you stated, our building is in fact very old! Unfortunately, it does tend to get a bit loud when we have a dinner crowd in. Thank you for being understanding of that!    Noisy. Slow service. Food had no taste at all. In spite of letting them know that my wife is pescatarian they did not ask us to order ahead or warn us about them running out of options, of course they ran out of Salmon by the time we ordered dinner. We had a vegetarian mushroom porridge that was plain awful. The only good part was the cheese board, sourced from a great farm nearby and lucky for us they did not have to make anything there on that plate except for an ok devilled egg, just assembled everything else nicely. Disappointing wedding anniversary dinner!

   Absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend. Also- get the fried green tomatoes, you won’t be disappointed.

   Our server today, 10/13 was amazing. She was so kind and on top of everything. We had a really lovely experience and the food was so delicious!

   My wife and I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions including dinner with business clients. The cocktails and service are terrific. The dining room tends to be a little loud. We find ourselves competing to hold dinner conversation with the rest of the room. Our recent dinner reservation was for our anniversary. We were seated right away with our reservation. The staff and server were friendly and attentive. We received our cocktails quickly and appetizers. The kitchen sent out a an incorrect appetizer but we kept it and continued. We ordered our main course and that took about an hour to receive it. I attribute this to being busier than expected. My wife ordered the bourbon half chicken which seemed under seasoned for the description. I ordered the chicken and waffles. I immediately noticed that the breading was very dark and dry and thick. It required a knife to cut through it. It was obviously overcooked. I suggest using a lighter coating to better serve this item. Cooking it in a fryer basket takes too long and leads to an overcooked product. IMO fried chicken should have a light crispy seasoned exterior while keeping the meat moist. There are ways to cook this in batches and keep it for service without effecting quality. This recommendation comes from a former food service professional with plenty of time in a kitchen. We will be back for sure to support local business.

    For our first time eating at Bloom, a Table of 6 awaited us. Our server was lovely and tentative. Food was good , drinks were reasonable
