   Arrived a few minutes late to my reservation, and I was told to hang by the bar / waiting area while they figured whether they could “accommodate me”. Bar was full, so I lingered awkwardly for about 20 minutes waiting to get approached. Finally got a spot at the bar, where almost an hour passed before a hostess approached me apologizing for the “miscommunication” aka, they forgot about us.

   We are extremely disappointed in our experience last night. Things started off poorly when the hostesses tried to seat us on the atrium side despite our reservation indicating that we were there to celebrate a birthday and had requested to sit on the chandelier side. We stood and waited over 10 minutes as BLVD scrambled to figure out where to put us. We were eventually seated near the bar after we were told we could not sit in a booth or on the front wall of the chandelier room. Once we were seated no one greeted us or asked to take any orders for drinks or appetizers for over 10 minutes. Starting with BLVD’s mistake in the seating arrangements, we felt like an afterthought/unplanned guests for the rest of the night. The waitress who eventually assisted us throughout the night was nice, but there were several mistakes made throughout the night and service was slow overall. When we ordered food and drinks, one of the servers who brought appetizers to the table seemed irritated when they brought an appetizer to the wrong guest and was asked not to reach over everyone in attempting to put a plate down in front of the right guest, empty glasses and plates sat on the table all night and entree items ordered were missing and took a very long time to be brought to the table to the point where we eventually just asked for the items to be taken off the check. For example, for the birthday girl’s steak entrée, she ordered a filet with the au poivre enhancement and it did not come out with her food, she let the staff know, another 5+ minutes go by and the waitress comes around and asks about the food, the birthday girl states again that the enhancement still has not come out. By the time the enhancement comes, over 15 minutes have passed, and she had already eaten a majority of her food by then. This instance and several others made the dining experience less than enjoyable. BLVD advertises itself as “upscale”, but failed to deliver an “upscale” experience. Very disappointing.

   Service was absolutely top notch! You will pay in the end but overall the best experience you could hope for in service. Food and drinks are excellent.

   What a wonderful experience. The service and food were outstanding! Everyone was very pleasant and quick with suggestions! The chandelier room was beautiful and great ambiance!

    The new brunch items are AMAZING. Such a good variety. We went with the whole family and there was something for everyone including my vegetarian mom. New hits include the sausage, egg and cheese bagel, the Italian beef hash, and the ricotta toast. And omg the cinnamon roll is epic. But don’t sleep on the OGs either. The BEC and the Italian omelette also slap. New cocktails are amazing too - the Arnold Palmer milk punch and the Fuschia & Stormy. Honestly can’t go wrong. Best brunch in the city and don’t know how it’s not packed every weekend.
