   Took an hour to get our food and it came out cold. We had children with us so you could imagine it wasn’t a great experience. If the food had been hot I think it would’ve been very good. Overall will not come again.

   Incredibly slow service. Restaurant was almost empty; it took 2.5 hours to dine. Had to ask waitress to refill drinks and she never came to check on us.

   The food is just average hotel food. The restaurant looks nice and had a wonderful view. The service is hit or miss. One lady in the morning was really attentive, the others were inexperienced, messed up our orders and not very sociable. Overall it is just an average hotel restaurant.

   This would have been excellent had it not been for the cranky hostess as soon as we walked in. She greeted us with wrinkled brows and seemed to be having a not—so-good evening, even though it was new-years-eve. I found it off putting for what should have been a celebratory evening. Our server was better however, attentive and friendly enough. Food was very good for the most part, atmosphere is great, definitely more bistro than pub. And nice views of the lake.

   Made a confirmed 9:30a reservation, and upon arrival was met with a locked door and the front desk informed me the restaurant would not open until 10a, with no semblance of an apology. Wish I had more to say but that’s where my experience began and ended.

   A friend and I are staying at the Saranac Waterfront Lodge next door and decided to go to this restaurant next door for dinner. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and chose a table outside near the water. Kelly was our server and was very friendly, attentive and made excellent suggestions regarding the dinner menu. We both had the strip steak dinner. My friends was cooked to perfection (medium rare) but mine was a bit undercooked (medium well). The wine list was adequate and the Cabernet we chose was fantastic. After dinner we enjoyed a nightcap at the bar. Overall, this is a great place to eat. Dining on the water (Lake Flower) made it even more special. We will be back when visiting Saranac Lake in the future.

   Wonderful place to eat. Great modern open seating with gorgeous view of the water. The food is fantastic: I especially enjoyed the Salmon Poke and my husband enjoyed the chicken tortellinil. Breakfasts were really lovely too.

   nice place to sit and view the water. food is “ok” didn’t have many selections of beer and food that were on menu, that said the food was good and priced accordingly . i would go back .

    Great lakeside dining in Saranac Lake. We were there for brunch and my wife had one of the best lobster rolls of her life while I dug into the chicken and waffles. We have been through the Saranac countless times on the way to Lake Placid, but I think we are going to make this our new destination. Great food. Great view. Great service.
