                                                                                                                                  Very noisy restaurant. Not a great choice for an anniversary dinner. We were seated between the bar and a party of 8 who treated dinner like their own private party. Very loud conversation and laughter. Management should change the practice of seating anniversary dinner parties near the bar or larger (usually more “lively”) groups. Service was excellent and food was OK. Cocktails were very good and the appetizer of lobster bisque was very good but had a little too much of a spicy kick for my wife. The pumpkin cheesecake was excellent.

                                                                                                                                  I absolutely love Bob’s but my experience was not great this time. The restaurant was busy, but not full and the noise was pretty loud. The soda that was brought was just soda water (clearly wasn’t working right). The appetizer was prepared incorrectly and I had to ask them to change it, but it took quite a long time before anyone came by. Then when my steak arrived (ordered it medium), it was very well done. It was several minutes before anyone came by again and unfortunately my daughter was very hungry and it was getting late so I couldn’t send it back. The famed carrot was also not fully cooked so it was inedible. When I let a manager and my server know they said sorry but never offered to do anything other than take the steak back. It’s not that I wanted it free, but I felt like they could have done something to make it right other than asking me to wait for a whole new plate. Bobs has always been my favorite place, but this was a very lackluster experience.

This visit we had a business/ friend dinner in the wine room.Service was spot on, thank you Kristen and Jarvis! We are a lot and they never missed a beat. We ordered family style which has now become our new favorite way to order. The steaks, onion rings, and tuna tartar were outstanding! We love bringing friends to Bob’s Mckinney, especially out of town guest that have never been to Bob’s!

This was an exceptional dinner minus the lobster bisque. Too salty and fishy tasting for my liking but I can’t downgrade the overall experience. Impeccable service and staff and my all time favorite lamp chops which never disappoint.
