    We had a wonderful dining experience. Bruce, our waiter, was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and well presented, with great pacing.We appreciated the attention from Vi,the sommelier, who gave us an excellent recommendation on wine, and came by several times to check in. We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary.

    We did not have the best experience tonight. The filet was lukewarm, the waiter was aloof and disappointing. The sommelier was terrific — very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We have always enjoyed eating at Bob’s, but tonight not so much.

    In our reservation made months ago, we requested "window table": Upon arrival hostess tried to seat us on the outside deck near a window during a massive dust storm. That wasn't appreciated. She then took the time to come to our table later and address us, basically stating that the window seats are highly coveted and difficult to receive. If that is the case, a person deserves to know that before arriving. In other words, since we made our reservation so many months ago we interpreted her words as "we gave your window seat away to someone else." Entry way to restaurant was littered with trash from the dust storm. We witnessed several maintenance people walk by leaving the trash that was pressed up against the entry doors. Rugs in waiting area are in serious need of cleaning or replacement. Soap dispensers in ladies restroom were empty. The food was not what we have grown accustom to at Bob's. Steak was tough, jumbo shrimp were clearly burned, but served anyway. Our waitress was lovely. Paying that kind of money for Bob's food and ambiance used to be worthwhile. This time, it was a serious disappointment. Bob's has been our favorite special restaurant for over a decade. This experience may change that.

    Lovely anniversary dinner. Down side was the restaurant was pretty empty and the staff knew if was our anniversary and they sat very noisy kids right next to us. There was at least 15 other tables available. It would have been nice to have a more quiet dinner.

    Although the name does not yell "fine dining", Bob's definitely is that. It begins with a quiet dining room (or patio with a great view if you prefer) with tables set far enough apart that conversations from other diners are not intrusive. Are sever, Bruce, was everything a server should be: knowlegeable, attentive without being overbearing, and willing to find the answer when needed. First of all, all of the food arrived hot. A trait lost on a lot of restaurants. A lobster bisque appetizer was deemed "perfect", the asparagus was perfectly cooked crisp, and Maryland crab cakes were well-seasoned and not at all "fishy." The prices are very high, but you do get a lot of food and keep in mind this is a resort restaurant during the "in" season. There is also a free parking garage, so no additional valet fees to add to the cost of dinner. Highly recommended!

    What's great about this place is that most everything is included in your meal and not ala carte. At other restaurants everything is ala carte, but at Bob's, besides the main item your choice of potato and a huge cooked carrot are included. Plus on the table to enjoy with your drinks is a jar of huge pickles and pickled peppers. So, what might seem as a steep price, not having to purchase all of your side dishes separately makes the meal a good value. The service is always outstanding and we have never had a meal that was not excellent.

    Our server, Colleen, could not have been more attentive. Leaving us alone when we were in conversation but being right there when we needed something. The food was outstanding! My husband said it was the best lamb he has ever eaten and the blue cheese salad was to die for!
