    So our reservation was at 8pm and we arrived at 7:55pm. It took well over 20 minutes for us to get seated despite the reservation. I understand the restaurant was busy and the hostess was trying her best. Management did nothing. I informed the waitress to bring this to the attention of management and no management came by to address this issue. No we apologize for the delay or anything. In fact I did not see anyone from management walking the floor considering the higher end type restaurant. That being said the wedge salad was good with tons of blue cheese. The bon ton oysters were really good and decadent but definitely eat with bread. The prime rib was good but not the best we’ve had. It did not come out hot and barely warm. The fresh horseradish was a good touch as was individual au jus containers. The Mac and cheese was also very good. This restaurant would have gotten a higher review but for the lack of any management acknowledgment.

    Second time here. Brought the family and it did not disappoint. Went home stuffed and happy with leftovers that may have even been better the next day!

    Everything was wonderful! The only complaint was our server oversold us on what we ordered. We were going to order two Bon Ton cuts for 6 people. We read the review in the Gambit and decided that would work for our table. The server strongly suggested that would not be enough . We decided 2 people to a Bon Ton cut and ended up having plenty of leftovers. It would have feed 3-4 people with all the salads and sides that we haven gotten. With that said, it was very good and will go back. The Salad wedge was excellent. Also the crawfish mac and cheese and roasted Brussels sprouts.

    Food was marginal, potatoes were cold, no remaining med rare prime rib, ran out of desserts. 300.00 dinner for 2 people. Would not recommend.

    Excellent. We were seated at our reserved time, in spite of it being a very busy night 12/25 to dine out. The staff was warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived until we exited the restaurant. Our meals were prepared and presented in a timely manner and exceeded our expectations. I had a prime rib, my husband chose a filet, and the side dishes were just as delicious. 10/10 Highly Recommend

    Host was completely inept at her job and can’t answer questions. Made rude comments about patrons in front of them. The restaurant ran out of prime rib even though the place is called bon ton prime rib. Also ran out of ice cream. We had to ask four times to get bread. When our baked potatoe was served the waiter was too busy talking to patrons and putting all different fixings on the potato instead of asking what we liked and therefore put stuff on the potato that we don’t like and had to return it for a new one. The steak was ok, not horrible but not amazing. Onion rings and wedge were good. For the cost of the food, the service should match which it did not. The management should just be ashamed and /or embarrassed that is the product they are serving. If you like spending money and being annoyed definitely eat here.

    Even with a reservation we waited an additional hour there should be a time limit on the tables after the food arrives at table side. It was expensive and delicious A great Christmas meal 32 oz prime rib!!!! The food and atmosphere were fantastic!

    We went on Christmas Day and they obviously overbooked. We had a 45 minute wait for our4:00 reserved table and we had my 98 yr old father in law on a walker waiting in the middle of the aisle. There was no other place to wait. If you want a lively, festive, loud place to eat, the Bon Ton was the place. It’s definitely not like in the old days, but for the young, it’s probably the happening place. Once we were seated, the service and food were pretty good- the prime rib was good and our crabmeat au gratin was good. We had the ice cream parfaits and that was fun. Valet service was a wonderful perk.
