Welcome to Bottega Michelangelo, a casual Southern Italian neighborhood kitchen located in the suburban town of Oro Valley. Our menu highlights the cuisine of Southern Italy with a distinct "Italy to Table" flair. The restaurant features contemporary elements and popular Michelangelo artifacts creating the feel of a modern Italian kitchen. Food and service were fantastic. We had to delay our ordering for one person in our party to run an errand and Lauren B. was ever so accommodating and kind. A bit pricey so it will be more of a treat than regular dining but we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Hostess was sweet and the portions were great too.

6 of us dined on a Thursday night. The place was packed but our reserved table was waiting for us. We shared appetizers, meatballs, eggplant and calamari that were all excellent. The eggplant was my favorite ! Several of us had the creamy risotto with peas, langastinos crispy pancetta bits and perfectly grilled shrimp perched on top. 2 got salmon which was cooked perfectly and served with beautiful yellow beats. 1 enjoyed the baby clam pasta dish. We all had coffees and despite the beautiful dessert menu we didn’t have room for a bite more. As a matter of fact we had leftovers!! Well done!

I love it here and the waiter was very good. Noise level was high. Food is excellent. It was a little slow with several vice but lunchtime here is always busy.

One of the area’s better and more authentic Italian restaurants. The server was contentious about ensuring we had a great experience. We should go her more but it’s across town.

We love it there! It can be a little loud but its well worth that just to eat there. We usually get the server named Kim and she is lovely, attentive and provides old fashion excellent service. I wish we could afford to eat there more.

Michelangelo’s always has delicious food and marvelous service. I only wish they had their chicken lasagna every day and not just on Sundays. It is so tasty. All the food is great; the bread is terrific and they keep you supplied; wait staff is just the right mix of friendly but not intrusive. The desserts are wonderful. It’s a place for celebration and every day dining.
