   The restaurant exterior and interior beautifully decorated. Our table was right in front of where servers picked up food. We were nudged constantly. The waitress was very nice, but very busy. So not very attentive. We asked for additional bottle of water but never received. The food wasn’t good. My son and I ordered the Eggplant, it was not good. The sides were cold. My husbands steak was tough and very chewy. My daughter’s chicken was also very dry. The seasonal vegetables were ruined with the massive oils and butter on them. The sodas had no carbonation. So in the end we received ambiance with terrible food.

   It's kind of a shame. The interior design is actually charming and well done with warm Parisian style interior lighting, and the food is good. The service was on point. So pretty much everything that you would want was done right. Except for the music. For some reason they have '80s dance music, and it's a little bit too loud. Such an easy win here. Why not play something that fits the charm of the interior while still creating the energy that they are looking for? It might seem like a small thing, but for us it really ruined the entire vibe and made it clear that we would not be going back. Plus it's very expensive for what you get. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you're looking for a meaningful dining experience.

   Boucherie is a West Village gem. The octopus was cooked to perfection, paired beautifully with a Pinot Noir. Filet mignon and creme brulee to die for.

   Walking into Boucheries feels like stepping into a hidden corner of Paris. A intimate and relaxed atmosphere really set the mood for savoring the classic French dishes they offer. We started with the escargot, which was buttery and perfectly seasoned, and moved on to the rich and tender beef bourguignon. The wine pairing recommendation was to die for. If you're in the mood for fine French dining in the West Village, this is the place.

   Boucherie is the perfect balance between elegance and coziness. The soft, dimmed lighting set the tone for a beautiful evening. The gratin was rich, canard was succulent, and both complemented beautifully by a glass of Bordeaux. The service and ambiance made the meal.
