   The food was average at best. The filet mignon arrived a bit on the cool side. Certainly, expected the lamb dish to be a lot more substantial given the price. Speaking of price, the wine list was extensive but the wines very over priced! On the plus side the service was excellent. The music was also too loud and interfered with the ambiance of the meal

   Best steak in town. Wonderful service, great wine list. One of our favorite spots for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.

   The food was pretty good and service was excellent. For the price, I expected a more upscale ambiance. The bar area looked more upscale than the actual restaurant dining area. One and done.

   Nice decor and support staff for server were good. Filet had a vein of fat running through it and was overcooked. Chicken dish was dry. Table was too small and they would not move it. See we seemed more interested in surrounding tables. I assume it was because they bought drinks.

   IMPORTANT TO NOTE: OpenTable lists this restaurant as serving food at a price point of $30 OR LESS. This is wildly incorrect. While I assumed the price point could be off a bit, considering the restaurant is located in the Fairmont, I was not prepared for the actual menu costs. We were celebrating a life milestone, so we decided to roll with it - what else were we going to do? Be cheapskates and leave? Haha. Even with each of us ordering the least expensive steak on the menu, along with some of the least expensive sides and bottles of wine (plus one dessert), left us with an $1,100 dinner tab for four people. Yes, that's one thousand and one hundred dollars. I realize this is probably a pittance for Bourbon Steak's usual clientele. But it was significant for this upper-middle class crew. ALL THIS BEING SAID - My steak, ordered medium rare, was truly the best steak I've ever eaten. The service was lovely. Even though we asked for inexpensive wine recommendations, the staff didn't treat us like we were being cheap or didn't belong there. So if money is no object, by all means, eat here and ENJOY. But know before you go that OpenTable's $30 price point is inaccurate.

   A bit disappointed overall. Walked in and was really looking forward to the experience but upon entering the dining area it was "a bit disappointing". They sat us in one of the worst tiny tables even though it was slow season and we were the first reservation. Slow start to my dining experience and it stay about there. The staff was very pleasant and attentive but the food wasn't on the mark, and for the prices I left more than a bit disappointed. Could have been an off day but compared to the many wonderful steak houses in Scottsdale I wouldn't go back.

    Excellent wagyu and lobster pot pie! The service was top notch. We had a music speaker right over our heads, but otherwise noise was good. Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion:)
