This restaurant does not play around. Food was ambitious and beautiful and I had several meals that had me tasting the umami for minutes after finishing the plates. If you really want to give your tastebuds a treat in an unpretentious environment, this is the place. Down to earth and intimate, you will feel immersed in what the chefs are doing and the server will make sure you have exactly the right drink at exactly the right time. They continue this way, and they’ll go to the moon and beyond. An Uptown gem!

Excellent food in a perfect atmosphere with perfect service. Truly a unique dining experience. The value on the food is exceptionally great in my mind. Wine seemed rather costly. Anyways - in case you want to celebrate something, I can highly recommend the Brass Heart.

Let me start with this - the food was amazing and the service was very good. When confirming the reservation, we were asked about food allergies/aversions. Chef did make alterations to my dessert course to accommodate my palate. My reason for the low rating has to do with the experience. I booked this reservation several weeks in advance to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were expecting to have a 9 course meal with wine pairings. When we arrived and were seated, we found out the menu was a special 'restaurant week' menu with only three courses and wine/cocktails by the glass and off the special menu. There was no indication on the web site nor was this mentioned when making the reservation or confirming the reservation. Very disappointing when you expect to have a long wonderful meal to celebrate a special occasion.

Food and service were excellent. The only complaint is there is no sign on the restaurant door and that made me look for a while.

My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week - he ordered the omnivore and I had the vegan. We both could not stop talking about how wonderful everything was! The service was fantastic as well, we can’t wait to go back for a date night to try their full tasting menu! Would strongly recommend!!

I was visiting from out of town, and wanted to find a Michelin m-starred restaurant for a nice dinner with an old friend. Basically, the food was good, but hardly exceptional, and wildly expensive. And that’s coming from someone very accustomed to Michelin-star quality restaurants. The restaurant was almost completely deserted, with only one other couple present... which meant very good service. But, the overall ambience suffered for not having the feel of a thriving restaurant; it was chilly both literally and figuratively. Normally the ambiance alone would not deter me from a positive impression, but unfortunately the food did not make up for the overall experience. I applaud intrepid chefs and the investment in creating a new restaurant and earning a Star, but this meal fell far short of expectations.

Wonderful first experience here. Knowledgeable, kind staff who really made our evening special. Food was absolutely excellent. Was impressed with the wine list as well.
