Came to celebrate my best friends 50th birthday! So glad that we did. He’s a foodie and at times can be hard to impress. We went with the recommended pork chop (he and I) and it was simply the best pork chop dish I’ve ever had. The flourless chocolate cake is amazing as was the bourbon pecan cheesecake.

I chose this restaurant for dinner before attending a show downtown that was about Europe, to sort of set the tone for the evening. Ambiance.. Aside from the French version of rock and roll music playing, conversations from across the restaurant could be heard, due to how sounds bounced around the room. I can only imagine how loud the room would be with a crowd. Food.. The menu items appeared enticing when reading the ingredients and the main entrees tasted fantastic. However, the $14 dessert the server bragged about consisted of a disappointing, stale, hard brioche bun with about one tablespoon worth of custard filling and one single raspberry on top. There were no other mentions of breads, pastries or cream-based sauces, typical of French cuisine. As for the value of the remainder of the meal, I understand food costs run high, but $39 for a few veggies and a pork chop that costs around $5 at the store is a bit much, even if it is a "French" recipe. Service.. The servers appeared as if they wished to be somewhere else and were making suggestions as if they worked at a used car lot and made commissions on the meals they served. Unlike every other restaurant I've ever been to recently, no bread was offered while we waited for our meal, but it was available for $3 per basket, according to the menu. Overall, with the exception of the flavor of the main entrees, I was disappointed with this restaurant and will not return, nor recommend, for its lack of value.

Dear Anthony, I am sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your dining experience last Saturday. We are a French Provencal cuisine restaurant and therefore don't use as much cream as others. I would also like to point out that we do not purchase Swift pork products that you find in supermarkets, but a prime quality cut from our butcher shop which is much more costly. Furthermore, most restaurants don't offer any bread, and those who have a high quality product charge for it like we do. Finally, my staff tried to interact with your table, but in vain. Thank you, Guy

The new menu includes some of the old favorites but the new additions look exciting. We both tried one of the new items and were very happy we did. WONDERFUL! Our service was excellent. Chris is a true professional. We will return !

First time there but food and service was excellent. It was a little on the expensive side so not something we would do regularly but a nice splurge for special occasion.

Great restaurant but was surprised that so few people were there. Service was acceptable but not great. Waiter had little knowledge of wine. Food was excellent. The space is lovely. Will definitely make this a regular place to eat.

Yet another excellent experience. We were warmly greeted by several of the staff including Guy's son who told us his father was visiting France. For those of you who know this establishment, it is rare for owner Guy to be away from his restaurant. The true measure of any business is not when the the boss is there, but rather when they are not. Cheers to Team Brasserie! You will always be our favorate. Reccomendations - Tomato Goat Cheese Tarte, Mistral Salad, Chicken Breast, Ruby Red Trout, Louis Jadot Pinot Nior by the glass.
