   Return visit to BSK: nice food, quite quickly and unobtrusively delivered by pleasant table staff. Reasonable price and easy booking. Would come back.

   Nice place to eat food. A good mix of contemporary dining, with a higher end feel, but relaxed at the same time. The vibe was great overall.

   It was the worst restaurant experience ever! Service was awful and waiter was rude and uninterested! food was below average to say the least scallops were initially overcooked and sent back fish was overly chewy and butter doughy and well the burger which I was looking forward to was not even close to some of the burgers I had in better restaurant. We have taken family here with great expectations and as a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and I can only say I was a shamed they had to taste the almost worst fish and chips in Edinburgh! Will never be back this this place. At the time we didn’t want to make a fuss as we were with family but really don’t go here unless they fix their attitude and food!

   The restaurant was really modern and great atmosphere, the service was great as well ,our food was very tasty but I think the we expect a bit more then just tasty food when you come to a place like this .Overall nice experience

   Food was really good but the poor service and price lets it down. We waited half an hour after our booked slot for our table to be ready and in that time it took 25 minutes to be served at the bar (which was not busy). The table service was also very slow throughout the meal. Although the food was good, it’s massively overpriced for what you get. I’ve eaten at some fantastic restaurants with great quality produce, for half the price. They also have very poor options for gluten free diners, none of the puddings were gluten free or could be made gluten free and there was no effort to accommodate dietary requirements throughout the meal. For the price being paid, that came as a bit of a surprise. In my experience, more expensive restaurants are usually much more accommodating. Overall it was a good evening but I wouldn’t come again.

   Table wasn’t ready when we arrived on time and had to have a drink at the bar, no salt or pepper on the table. Had to attract waiters attention for drinks twice and once a waiter took our drinks order and then another waiter came over and asked if we wanted drinks. I explained we had just ordered and was told that he never passed it on. When the bill came with 20% service charge on it automatically, I asked for it to be reduced to 10% as there was issues. I wasn’t asked what they were. On another note, the fish and chips was lovely tasting. Shame the service let it down badly.

   Family holiday in Edinburgh. We had hoped to be in the restaurant at 10 so that we could enjoy NYE and Hogmanay with our 7yo and 9yo since they couldn’t be at the street festival. Unfortunately, the events in the city were cancelled due to weather. The restaurant allowed us to adjust our booking to 5pm. It was terrific. Venison sausage, amazing burger, great wine list, and an accommodating staff. Thank you!

   I took my boys to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant for New Year's Eve, and I have to say, it was the worst dining experience I've ever had. The kids' menu was £25 for two courses, and the portion sizes were so tiny it was almost comical. My little one ordered mac and cheese, and I was absolutely appalled that they were charging £25 for such a basic dish. It felt like a complete rip-off. The quality of the food didn't justify the price, and the lack of value left me frustrated and disappointed. It’s clear that this restaurant is more about the name than the experience or customer satisfaction. I would never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about serving good food at a reasonable price. An absolute disaster.

    The waiters are great, but the food was just average. On top I got serious stomach issues afterwards. In the beginning I thought it happened just because I am not used to Indian food, but my wife was suffering as well and she had a different dish. Further we booked an early dinner, because of the festive menue (2courses for 29£ before 5pm) which was not available and they had no alternative. Therefore we had to choose from the normal (and more expensive) menu. Unfortunately many dishes were also not available. Finally we ended up paying more than 122£ (2 people, 3 courses each, 1 drink each, including a mandatory 12,5% gratitude+1£ volontary donation, which they add without asking and who will ever ask to remove that?) for average food, which was not the choice we wanted + 1 night sitting on the toilet with stomach issues (maybe food poisioning?) Shame on you Mr Ramsay. You won't see us again.
