We strayed from our usual thanksgiving location in san Francisco and went to bridges to avoid the drive. We both quickly realized the drive is worth it. The food at Bridges was mediocre, they were overly chaotic, and service was poor. People seated after us got things way before us, then they were forgotten about and we eclipsed them. Servers couldn't tell who ordered what and we were seated in a bad location that was a worse experience than a downtown diner. Food was not bad but nothing to write home about at all. We had a regretful thxgiving dinner-wise but now we know to stick with other options that are more highly rated. If you don't want to cook and want to stay in town - I'd check out other options first but if you had to book Bridges - it will be "ok".

Portions are TOO large. Severely detracts from the fine-dining (?) experience.

Difficult to assess because it was Thanksgiving. There was not enough help, so the wait staff were all running around trying to keep up. But our server was funny and pleasant and the rest of the staff were very pleasant also. Holidays are challenging.

Excited for Thanksgiving dinner. To my dismay, we were seated outside on a chilly patio with no ambiance or festive decor. Felt like we were in flow over parking …an afterthought. While service was very good, the food was mediocre at best. Tasteless gravy, boring stuffing, very dry turkey. The squash soup was good, though. Pumpkin pie was ok. Texture was a bit off. Will not go again for Thanksgiving, that’s for sure. It was disappointing.

We had Thanksgiving here last year and it was very enjoyable. But this year we were made to sit outside which we were never told when we made the reservation. Half the tables inside were empty but the person seating us refused to let us sit inside. Even with heaters it was cold. We sat down and they immediately tried to bring us someone else’s order. Once we did order they tried to bring our side dishes before they even brought our soup and salad let alone main dishes. They tried to talk us into keeping them and when we requested they be served with our main dishes they got angry and stomped off. We had to constantly ask for silverware but they did keep our water glasses full. Overall, not a great experience especially for the money.
