Briny Swine Chicago is a seaside-inspired smokehouse and oyster bar in the heart of Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood featuring Carolina-style barbeque, seafood and Lowcountry classics, served with a side of sass. It’s a local joint where friends and family gather to laugh and forget about life in the big city while they get in on some Southern hospitality and good eatin'. Rosé, bourbon, cocktails and beer are aplenty...and on a steady flow.

Whether you’re on vacation, passing by after a long day of work or catchin’ the big game, Briny is that place where all are welcome, from all parts, and no one cares about the rest.

Y’all, leave your worries at the door, take a seat, enjoy fine swine, wine and oysters while listening to the sweet sounds of rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass and honkey tonk.

We’ll take care of the rest.

Great atmosphere, busy so service was very slow (but they paid for our first round of drinks as an apology), was satisfied with the food and it was reasonably priced for the quality of the food! Will be returning :)

They got off to a rough start last year, but they’re doing so much better now! The food was outstanding, service was great.

Sauces were great but the brisket was undercooked by bbq standards and the corn bread was cold. The server was quick and prompt was a friendly personality. I will definitely give it another try everyone has bad days.

Overall, the food and space is great. We went on St. Patrick's weekend so the space was extremely busy and loud. However, our server make sure to check on us and make sure we had refills when needed. I ordered the Lobster roll with mac n'cheese - delicious!

The food was excellent with good portion sizes, but it took a while for the main meal to come out. They basically ignored us when we were trying to get our water refilled. Our server only filled up my glass AFTER I asked for the check (I didn't need any more by then).

It's unique to find excellent oysters on the half shell and really good ribs together in one restaurant. But Briney Swine fills the bill. Excellent service topped the whole experience. It's a big space which means don't hesitate to bring your friends. You'll have a fine time.

Got the fish and chips - pretty underwhelming. The breading wasn’t crispy at all and the fish was suspect. Decent beer list but won’t be coming back to dine.

The food I was good…I loved the deep fried buffalo oysters and the fries! My bf enjoyed the ribs. The dessert was amazing, try the banana pudding and the seasonal cobbler a la mode!!

The service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. The corn bread was fresh tasting, crab cakes were flavorful , oysters were succulent, burgers fresh and delicious, ribs juicy and outstanding. The Coca Cola cake was a great way to end a wonderful meal.
