    Although we made a reservation, we had to wait an hour in an over crowded foyer. They wouldn't even give an estimated time to be seated. Once we made it to the dinning room we were left standing in the middle of a sea of dirty tables with an employee complaining about how there were no tables available. An employee moving at a glacier place wiped down a table for us. The ambiance was terrible surrounded by dirty tables. The calamari was good but the entrees and dessert were were okay. Overall, it ruined our Christmas.

    Short staffed for holidays caused 1.5 hour wait after our reservation. Food was fast but they had no table service. The hostess bussed our table and took our order. While waiting at the bar I never got my drink order.

    We had reservations at Brio on Christmas, but when we arrived at the restaurant at the time of our reservation, the line to be seated was way out the door. We were told that the people who had reservations 30 minutes before us were still waiting to be seated, so we would not be seated anytime soon. This is unacceptable on a holiday when we want to have an enjoyable experience. Given how long the line was and how long we would likely be waiting just to be seated, we decided to go somewhere else. We were able to find another restaurant with reservation openings that evening, and they sat us as soon as we arrived.

    We had a great happy server who made the experience fine. The apps were great and the entrees were weak. The place was dirty with many un-bussed tables, the host was not host like and the bar was completely understaffed. So not sure how or why, but management was not able to staff properly. It left a half empty room of tables and a very odd non - Christmas vibe to the whole Experience. We would not return, especially on a holiday

    The shrimp eggplant appetizer was amazing. The cheese encrusted steak medallions and the grilled pork shops were excellent. The cheesecake was out of this world.

    We were thankful for Brio being open on Christmas day and for the employees willing to work. The food and service were excellent.

    I gave such a low review because 10 mins from our reservations we received a phone call that they could not service us. We 8:15 reservation a party of 5. So imagine how much of an inconvenience that was trying to find another restaurant at that hour to accommodate our group. A later time was not even offered either. This used to be a favorite. But it had truly went down hill.

    The restaurant needs more staff. We had to wait for quite a while when we walked in the door to see anyone. There was no host up front or at the bar. When a host finally arrived, she did apologize for the wait. Once we were seated, we had to wait a while to see a waiter. Once a waiter showed up, we tried to order a drink from the bar and the waiter told us they didn't make those and then we saw it on the menu. He apologized for that. We then ordered a soup and a salad and we never received the salad. He had forgotten all about it until we mentioned it when the food arrived. He did take it off the bill. The food was good but not worth the price.
