The wait was extremely long. The restaurant was completely empty besides two larger parties. The restaurant took 45 minutes to serve our food. We only had water in front of us during that period, no free appetizers or anything which is fine. The hamburgers were outstanding and the fries were delicious. I recommend going if you’re willing to risk starving to death before receiving your meal. I cannot fathom the wait at this place if there were an abundant amount of customers.

Service was horrible! Our waiter was the bar tender. We received the wrong order, we were a party of 6 received our meals at different times. The manager came over said he was sorry and didn’t comp anything. Never saw him again. Food was spot on delicious. Very expensive for poor service though.

My family was visiting out of Country and we decided to visit Brix and Ale for dinner Valentine’s Day. This was our very first time. We had reservations for 5:30 PM for 5 of us. The host at the front desk was lovely and asked her colleague to take us to a table. Upon arriving at the table, we were told that it wasn’t our table. We stood there for 5 mins as staff tried to figure things out. They brought us to a different table of 4 and added a chair to that table in front of us to seat us all. That was the very beginning of a bad evening. My parents ordered wine and beer and we had to ask for a glass for beer. Service was slow, the restaurant was busy because of Valentine’s Day. Staff seemed frazzled, unprepared and they may have been understaffed for the night. We placed our order: 2 burgers and 3 orders of “catch of the day”, which happened to be trout ($30). 35 minutes later and still no food. Our waiter finally came by to let us know that “food was being prepared and should be out soon”. Another 15 mins go by, and another staff member in a suit came by and stated that they had personally checked on our food and that “it should be out in 5 mins”. After another 10 mins, when a waiter came by to fill our glasses with water, we asked for an ETA on our food and she said that she would check. After waiting for more than hour, our food came. The burgers were not that bad but what a disappointing plate of trout. A very sad and tiny piece of fish over 5 pieces of carrots topped with some berries. It was supposedly an entree - the bottom of the barrel looking portion of thin fish. It was plated on a dinner plate, which was embarrassing, and if I call it an appetizer, I would be stretching it. It didn’t come with potatoes or rice or more than 5 tiny pieces of carrots. It looked as if they rushed to plate it and forgot to add the sides. All that for $30 of 5 bites of dinner. Extremely disappointing and not even tasty. I would not recommend coming here.

The ambiance was nice but the menu didn’t stand up to the “feel” of it. Th menu was very small. Would have like more entrees options. But it was Christmas so maybe that’s why? We loved the mashed potatoes. So comforting and yummy!

Christmas Eve lunch, 5 of us. Sandwiches and sodas, took 40+mins to get food. Mgr had difficulty accepting $59 Marriott gift certificate, but he figured it out 2nd time around. Will not be back.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I am truly sorry to hear about your recent experience at our restaurant and the inconvenience caused by the discrepancies between our online menu and the actual offerings. We understand the seriousness of food allergies, especially celiac disease, and I deeply regret that your guest’s dietary needs were not properly accommodated. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide. I assure you that we are taking immediate steps to update our online menu to accurately reflect what we offer and to train our staff to be more attentive to specific dietary requests. Thank you once again for your feedback.
