Après avoir vu tant d’avis positifs sur ce restaurant, j’ai réservé pour l’anniversaire de Mon Mari en me disant que nous allions forcément passer un bon moment. Dès que nous arrivons, on est directement interrogés par la serveuse pour savoir si nous voulons boire quelque chose, sans avoir même enlevé nos vestes. Une fois les menus en main, la serveuse est revenue à peu près toutes les 4 minutes pour voir si nous avions choisi. J’ai spécifié que j’étais française et que j’avais besoin de temps pour comprendre tout ce que le menu proposait, cela ne l’a pas empêché de revenir incessamment, comme si qu’elle était pressée que tout aille vite, alors que nous étions venus pour un anniversaire. En entrée, nous avons choisi les frites à la truffe, elles étaient tellement tapissées d’herbes, sans que ce soit indiqué, que nous n’avons pas réussi à les manger, nous avons demandé si c’était possible de les enlever on nous a ramené des frites normales. Pour les plats, Mon Mari a pris un burger pulled beef, le pain avait l’air d’être sorti du congélateur et la viande était beaucoup trop sucrée. Me concernant j’ai pris le saumon teriyaki avec les deux accompagnements proposés: du riz blanc qui était à moitié cuit et des légumes sautés en petite quantité et presque sans aucun assaisonnement. Une autre serveuse a vu notre mécontentement et a vraiment fait de son mieux pour nous et je la remercie. Lorsque notre serveuse est venue en fin pour nous demander si nous voulions un dessert, c’était trop pour moi parce que j’avais indiqué dans la réservation de préparer un brownie avec une bougie en surprise pour l’anniversaire, j’en ai eu marre, nous sommes partis. J’ajoute que plus la soirée avançait, plus nous avoins du mal à respirer dans le restaurant tellement il y avait de la fumée, nos yeux brûlaient. En sortant nous sentions très fort la friture et la grillade, insupportable. Je n’ai pas l’habitude de critiquer, mais là tout est allé de travers à chaque étape, et l’anniversaire raté

Burnt Offerings- an incredible restaurant that also happens to be Kosher. Menu always has new and exiting items, staff is friendly and attentive.

Food not great one dish came out after everyone else’s was finished. Chicken piccata was just grilled chicken with lemon squeezed on top and chicken soup was brown.

When we arrived, we were the third party attending. They sat us in the middle of the room. We requested to move to the corner away from most traffic and were moved. We decided to splurge and split the Tomahawk steak. It was cooked medium rare as requested but honestly had very little flavor. There was plenty for the both of us and leftover meat also. In hindsight, wish we had ordered the burgers ! The chicken wings were excellent; meaty and hot (temperature wise). The beefy joints had minimal meat. Overall, not impressed.

Had the most wonderful experience here. Service was very fast and the wait staff was great!! They had an amazing menu and the food lived up to the hype! Very clean and beautifully decorated.
