   Despite having a reservation, we were not seated until 15 late and at a table in the bar area. There was total confusion at the front desk. Another group was waiting for their 8 pm reservation. The staff were not very communicative and a little rude. We had to tell 3 different people about our reservation. When we shown our table we were then told the kitchen is backed up 1 hour. We left.

   I give them some grace because the servers seemed understaffed but the hostesses seemed very disorganized and didn’t seem to know what to do. The service was very slow, I heard multiple complaints throughout the restaurant that the bathrooms smelled horrible and you can barely be in there. My cocktail wasn’t very good and the food was fine but not at all worth the price. Our server was friendly but the entire ambiance was bad and I had to apologize to my boyfriend multiple times for bringing us there.

   Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience for our NYE dinner. Poor service - said they put in order but ticket never printed in kitchen (I am guessing they didn't complete the order to actually print it in kitchen). After a 40 minute wait for our food, they asked if we still wanted to eat! Of course we did, we were starving. No offer for a snack while we waited again. No refills on drinks or ask if we wanted another round. Never really checked back. Once food came, 1 was cold, 1 looked thrown on the plate, and the worst 1 came with raw chicken. Waitress was overly apologetic, but the word sorry didn't cut it at that point. Offered to remove dinner with raw chicken (well duh!) We declined replacement as we were just so done with the place at that point. There was no other offer of compensation even when we mentioned it. They said there was nothing they could do.

   Great food! Love the tater tot appetizer! Service is good, but a little slow. Nice atmosphere.

   Unfortunately we couldn't eat our steak, we ordered medium but we got it well done, dry , couldn't finish it. Other than that, everything was good, the server Kaytlin was very good, atmosphere was good, a little cold inside.

   Tegan provided our group of five (separate checks) terrific service. We were tended to in a timely fashion with a smile ! The food selection was great - everyone really enjoyed their lunch! We were able to be out and back to work in a timely manner.

   Firecracker shrimp appetizer was one of the best firecracker shrimp I have ever add. Perfectly done with the perfect level of heat!

   Surprise! Burntwood Tavern is not known as a steak house. However, the three filets that were ordered were perfect in size and how they were prepared! I highly recommend if you are looking for an excellent filet, cooked to perfection for a decent price this is it! The wait staff was attentive and helped to make an excellent dining experience!

    We had great experience at Burnwood Tavern at Brecksville. Food was amazing, service very nice, price reasonable, cozy atmosphere. Definitely come back again.
