   We really enjoyed our time at Burntwood Tavern in North Olmsted. The service was beyond excellent. Our server, Mel, went above & beyond for us. The food was delicious & the servings were large! Will be going back.

   I was a little worried about the menu change since they no longer have one of my favorites, Rasta Pasta and only serve the Prime Rib dip on Fridays. But everything we ordered was great. The shrimp tacos are bigger and better than ever and the southwest chicken salad was huge and flavorful. We ordered the deviled eggs and candied bacon appetizer which was good, but it only came with one piece of bacon…could have used two. Our server explained that everything is now freshly made from scratch which is why it tastes so good.

   Been there a lot. Went because we’re excited about refresh at north olmsted. Was not excited leaving. Food took a long time coming. One person in my party got her food about 15 minutes after the others and had to be sent back because was not cooked to her liking. Others in party got new pork sliders. Not good! For $14 one small piece of pork belly on each bun. And bun was very cold! Poor waitress was run off her feet. Taking care of too many tables New music was very loud and distracting. And bring back the pork piccata!!

   We were seated immediately, thankfully we had a reservation. We were seated outside n the enclosed patio and it was a bit cold and asked to be moved inside and accommodated. A lovely evening and enjoyed happy hour!

   Waiter was great. The southwest salad was one of the worst I’ve had. I asked for it the regular way. Came with weird chicken, no red onions and no dressing. I asked for dressing, pushed the chicken aside.
