   First, the good. The restaurant is lovely. Music in the Piano Room, although nice, was more of an overly loud jam session than it was a performance of professional musicians. Also, service was attentive albeit a bit inexperienced. Then, there was the food; the bad part. The food was generally lacking in seasoning. The pasta primavera was overpriced, indelicately crafted, and poorly presented. Nothing at all to write home about. The chicken piccata was equally poor; flavorless and poorly seasoned chicken cutlets in a nondescript chicken stock-based sauce served with a medley of indelicately prepared vegetables and a couple of pieces of overcooked red potato. Again, edible but nothing to write home about. Add to the above the unfortunate fact that this restaurant, like too many others, has decided to provide overpriced soft drinks (Coke products, in this case) in individual cans rather than by the glass (they do have a bar with soda on tap however they have made the conscious decision to overcharge for cans and forcing one to purchase another overpriced can rather than offering a refill, as was once customary - soda on tap costs the restaurant only pennies a glass), and it becomes obvious that this restaurant’s primary motivation is greed as opposed to providing value for money. For this reason alone they have seen the last of my patronage. Bottom line: There are far, far better places to be overcharged for a meal. Pass this one by!

   Went for Sunday brunch. Enjoyable pianist but my guest and I were the only people in the restaurant so the music reverberated making it difficult to hold a conversation. Omelet was good. Potatoes were dried out and cold. Could not get a replacement. Accidentally ordered the ‘bottomless’ mimosa when I only wanted one. It was mediocre and not worth the price.

   We love the great food, service and welcoming atmosphere. But the wonderful musical talent we’ve seen on every visit makes this a truly unique experience.

   It was such a great evening. I had asked a friend where she would like to go to celebrate her birthday? She suggested Cafe Centro, and I was so excited because I love it there also. We had dinner and danced. It was perfect!

   Cafe Centro made our Valentine’s Day truly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a romantic evening. The food was absolutely fabulous—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. You can tell the chefs put their heart into every plate. But what truly elevated the night was the phenomenal entertainment. Copeland on the piano with his band was simply mesmerizing! His talent and energy brought the entire room to life, making the evening feel extra special. The combination of outstanding food, top-notch service, and world-class live music made for a perfect night. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience, especially with live entertainment, Cafe Centro is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

   Another amazing evening at Café Centro with fabulous friends, outstanding cuisine and phenomenal entertainment. The owners, Joyce and Sal, always go above and beyond to please their clients in every way. They run a tight ship with a staff that is extremely accommodating to all.    We dine at Cafe Centro every Friday for the past 6 years. Always an amazing time. The cuisine is outstanding & the entertainment is always phenomenal. The servers go above & beyond to please. The owners, Joyce & Sal do everything possible to make everybody’s experience a memorable one.
