   I have have been blessed to have dined in many top restaurants around the world and would put Cafe Monarch in my top 5. The food was incredible in its creativity and quality. The service was impeccable, always one step ahead of anything we would need. The ambiance was charming, inviting and special. Would definitely go back.

   From our arrival to departure, everything was amazing. We came for Valentine’s Day and although our reservation was a late one you would never have known from how welcoming the entire staff was. There was someone there to take pictures in the entry courtyard when we arrived, and the hosts welcomed us warmly. We were told the table was being made ready for us and waited not 5 minutes to be seated. Our server was fantastic and helped to create a truly fun and welcoming environment, the support staff were amazing and timely, the bar staff made a great zero-proof cocktail off menu, and of course the star of the show was the food. The amuse bouche was delightful and refreshing, and set the stage for the quality in each course that followed. This was our second visit to Cafe Monarch and needless to say, we will absolutely be returning in the future. Thank you to Chef and the staff for the amazing food and service on an incredibly special night!

   Cafe Monarch in Scottsdale provides an unforgettable dining experience, even though we had a small hiccup at the start. We arrived for our reservation and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, which was a bit frustrating given that I was dressed in “dinner” heels. IYKYK. However, once we were seated, everything more than made up for the delay. We opted for the prix fixe menu, which was an absolute delight. The blood orange salmon aguachile, braised lamb, venison, shrimp, and ahi tuna were all bursting with flavor. I had the filet mignon, while my boyfriend enjoyed the Japanese Wagyu, which was truly exceptional—unbelievably tender and flavorful, cooked to absolute perfection. The sauces and sides were perfectly balanced, and my picky eater boyfriend couldn’t get enough of everything! We also added oysters and caviar to start, which were so fresh and crisp, and charred octopus, which was cooked to perfection with a lovely char but still wonderfully tender. For dessert, the chocolate strawberry cake was a showstopper—beautifully presented and delicious, with the Valentine's theme executed flawlessly. The cocktails were beautifully crafted, each with a perfect balance of flavors and a nice kick. If you enjoy wine, the pairings were spot on, and I was also impressed by their unique selection of zero-proof drinks, which my boyfriend really enjoyed. The service was impeccable throughout the meal. Even with the minor seating delay at the beginning, the staff’s attention to detail and hospitality made the experience one to remember. Highly recommend Cafe Monarch for a special evening out—it’s truly a Scottsdale gem!

   Outstanding food and service. Dine outside as it’s more intimate and quieter while being comfortable with heaters etc. We will be back!

   If you want the dining experience of a lifetime, Café Monarch is the place to go! It’s rated one of the top three fine dining restaurants in the nation by TripAdvisor. We completely agree.

    Our new favorite special occasion restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, outstanding food, and the staff was helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Pricey, but so very worth the splurge.
