An intimate affair, with a menu of pasta and small plates to share, an all-Italian wine list of much-loved and lesser-known varietals, and an essential collection of cocktails, grappa and amari to start, finish and make the most of the afternoon and evening.

Reservations are available for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm daily, followed by a limited aperitivo menu from 3 pm to 5 pm. Dinner is served from 5 pm to 10 pm every night. Please note, we are unable to accommodate outside food in the restaurant, including birthday cakes. We look forward to breaking bread with you!

wow wow wow! what an amazing place, outstanding food, over the top great service, kind people, great ambiance. loved it and super conveniently located attached to the York theatre where we were seeing a play right after. Amazing!

La Tana is my go to restaurant. The food, service, and ambience are always outstanding. Perfect for sharing with a small group of friends. As a group of 4, we shared 2 appies and 4 pastas. We each had a favourite, but all were delicious. I especially loved the pasta that looked like wrapped candy with a browned sage sauce...I think. Can't wait to come again. My only small issue is that the noise level is high. Come early or later if you want a quieter dining experience.

Very comfortable and yet stimulating place. Staff very sweet. Food was excellent, no complaints at all. We had a great time. Want to visit at other times of day now to experience the coffee and the lunch variations of the Caffe.

Food and service are always exceptional, although wine by the bottle prices were a bit high for value. Carpaccio was unfortunately underwhelming, but all other dishes (starters, salads, pastas) were delicious.
