   Friendly. Food was wonderful. Waitress was helpful and was happy to take pictures. Cake was fantastic. Great place for special events

   Alyssa did a phenomenal job! The service, the food and the ambiance was amazing as usual! My Mom and I LOVE this tradition every year! Thank you, Cake bake!

   I’ve been here several times and this time was a miss. Table was not ready until 10min after our reservation time (and several tables were empty, it wasn’t due to other guests lingering). Server was slow to come to our table and wasn’t nearly as attentive as I’ve experienced on other visits. Our fries came out with no dipping sauce. Sever said they were waiting on clean ramekins. By the time we got the sauce the fries were cold. Not acceptable when they are charging you $14 for fries. Cake prices have gone up while the slices have gotten smaller. Not the top tier magical experience expected for the prices.

   My granddaughter had pic 2 with chicken velvet soup and chicken salad croissant. I had the ham, rosemary quiche with the soup also. It was delicious. Lavender lemonade was great. Gingerbread cake and coconut cake finished off our birthday lunch. Loved it!

   Party of 8 with a 130 reservation. Food and cocktails were fine. After meal coffee was served WITH A TO GO CUP at 220. I got up to snap a photo with my kids and the bill was served to the table. My guests felt obligated to pay. I was horrified. I was able to cancel their credit card charge and replace with my own, but my goodness - how embarrassing. It's fair to say that I should have given my credit card when we were seated, but serving coffee with a to go cup when we had not been sitting for even an hour felt a little beyond the beyonds. Men's restroom was inoperative. Closest men's facility is outside of the restaurant and down the road.

   We were welcomed warmly upon arrival at the front desk. Our table was ready on the front porch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our server. Beth knew it was my birthday. She remembers every year when I am celebrating my birthday. We had our drink order done promptly. My husband had a Bloody Mary which he thought was excellent. I ordered the chicken velvet soup for dinner. The soup was accompanied by a baguette. The soup was excellent. My husband ordered the gumbo poutine and the French onion soup. He thought both were amazing. For dessert, I ordered the Key Lime pie. My key lime pie came with a birthday candle which was a nice touch. The Key Lime pie is fabulous. My husband ordered the coconut cake which was wonderful. Beth was an incredible server who is very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the Cake Bake Shop for a Birthday celebration or any occasion.
