Camino was born with the opening of King’s Cross in 2007. Capturing the real essence of Spain was always the aim, and with the addition of Bar Rioja opening opposite ( this was previously Bar Pepito, London’s very first sherry bar) we came a King’s Cross institution.

Our lively bar and restaurant sprawls around a hidden courtyard, coming alive in the Summer, full of people enjoying a frosted mug of Spanish cerveza, a glass of sangria or a Rioja Glass from Bar Rioja. With outdoor heaters and plenty of seating, it’s often busy on even the coldest of evenings.

We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Join us for our Spanish breakfast during the week, or our popular Happy Hour at the weekend. The bar at Camino is always buzzing, with DJs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays playing the best Latin, house and party sounds until late. Always free entry!

The waiting staff were very helpful making sure we didn’t have any dairy in our food and explaining what was in some of the sauces. This was reassuring and made our evening more relaxed. The food was in the main delicious especially the sea bass. There was though a very dry overpriced salad and the carafe of Sangria contained too much ice. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable evening.

There was a special offer two courses for £15. We were not given that menue. Three of our six tapas were on the £15 menu but we were charged full amount. Poor service

Having booked a table for my wife’s birthday got here to be told we had 15 minutes as kitchen as needed to have a rest. This was never on the site and ruined what was meant to be a special day. Absolute joke and unacceptable. If had known we had 15 minutes we would have not booked and sure most would have done the same. Need to sort out their website

Service was excellent. Food was good and well priced although got cold quickly . It was a lovely touch that it was my friend's birthday and the waiters brought a piece of cheesecake with a candle and sang happy birthday.

As a Spaniard, I can say this restaurant serves authentic and really flavourful Spanish dishes, in fact the best I’ve tasted in Britain in years. Food is excellent: Rich, well-prepared, and true to traditional Spanish flavours that lean on the quality of the produce. The restaurant is located in a lively area yet its position in a quiet courtyard creates a sense of calm and comfort. It’s a good blend of vibrancy and tranquility that makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Camino is an excellent choice for a taste of Spain and it is good value for money. Highly recommend!

Excellent food but being seated in the bar I had to order at the bar and could not run a ‘tab’. There was a very loud group next to us which, although was no one’s fault, imposed on our ability to have a conversation.
