   As usual the staff were lovely and the food good. However, only two prawns on the sharing platter is a continual disappointment- there really should be four!!!

   Normally wonderful & 5 star as far as we are concerned. We had booked a couple of days earlier for a 19.00hrs Saturday night. Was almost empty and we were told at least a 45 minute wait. We declined, but then of course had to find somewhere else to eat on a Saturday night. Was it a problem with staff shortage? Who knows. We will return because normally really is good/excellent.

   We come to Carluccio's each year for a pre theatre meal. I had seen a few not so good reviews since our last visit so was a bit concerned about booking but have to say we had a great experience, There were a decent number of other tables occupied (it is a large space) so the atmosphere was good. Although a couple of items were not available we were told this before looking through the menu and it did not affect our choices. Service, from Isaac, was excellent, attentive but not overbearing, from arrival until we left. Everything arrived in good time and he sorted out our discount vouchers appropriately. Food was good and well cooked. Only reason not to get five stars was my wife felt her ravioli should have had more filling. An enjoyable early evening meal which set us up perfectly for our theatre visit.

   Pedestrian service even thought the place was virtually empty. Tasteless food. Carluccio's has really gone downhill in recent years. We won't visit again. Went to Cote in the evening, that was great, as always.

   The menu had been significantly changed since our last visit to Carluccios. There were several risotto dishes but we were told they had run out of risotto. My wife was expecting tuna nicoise but it had een taken off the menu. The only salad was a goats cheese. The salad was very mean for £14/£15 and the goats cheese was mininal. The wine by the glass was very expensive priced haven risen significantly since our last visit in May. Very disappointing. We will not use Carluccios again.

   My friend and I shared the new antipasti board which we enjoyed very much, the crostini was lovely but we did miss having some cheese and we still think there should four prawns! The staff were as always friendly and efficient.

   There was a lot of food that wasn’t available which is very disappointing. This isn’t the first time that has happened.

    We arrived after booking and were advised only one Chef and may have long delays. We ordered meatball and none available - order prawns instead and they never arrived. We asked and were advised they were on there way -they never arrived. Felt a nuisance and inconvenience.
