   Ate at Carluccios Solihull for lunch today. It was such a pleasant experience. Staff were so good at their work, efficient, helpful, kind and speedy. The restaurant was packed with lovely families and couples chatting and enjoying good food, a positive vibe. Chefs did some tasty work - I recommend the chicken saltimabucca and the carbonara. Pudding was a gorgeous tiramasou and brownie. Service from bar staff, floor managers and waiting staff was excellent even though it was so busy they still maintained work efficiently and attentively and with a smile! Thanks so much my daughter and I had a really lovely lunch x

   Very disappointed that there wasn’t any parmesan cheese for the 4 x pasta dishes which made them totally tasteless. When ordering they did not notify us of this which may have made us change our orders. 1 person didn’t eat any of their pasta because of this. When asked for some cheese they said that they were really sorry but the order hadn’t been delivered that morning. This was a birthday meal so was very disappointing and no refunds were given.

   Always nice food, although today’s was a little cold! I should’ve complained really because I think there’s no excuse not to serve food piping in this day and age. We had the 50% off today, which makes the food more cost-effective. Without this, I think for what you get it’s a little expensive so my advice would be if you fancy some really good food go when there’s 50% off. This is a Restaurant chain that needs to be supported!

   very good food, as usual, especially the pizza I ordered. Quite noisy with the open kitchen at full-speed lunch preparations. Excellent service.

   My wife and I have been customers of Carluccio's for 10-15 years, we don't expect special service however.... The main food portions are smaller than ever, the house red wine is now to expensive for a not very good bottle. The service was rushed even though all the tables were not full. Our server applied Parmesan cheese onto my wife's main course (Risotto) and as he was rushing managed to add some into her glass of red wine. A small apology was given and he took the glass away and returned with a "new glass" of red wine - rather a small amount. The whole experience was underwhelming and we just didn't feel like we were welcome.

   A nice place to eat, but not very flexible towards diners in my opinion. What I mean by that is I ordered a dish and wanted something substitute which was basically some mixed leaves for some potatoes because I’ve ordered some tenders and broccoli. I was told that couldn’t be done for a price of £25 for some water and they couldn’t do that Then it’s not really a place I could recommend
