   Given that our family includes includes vegan and non-vegan diners, the variety of food and especially the page of vegan menu options sealed our decision to eat at Carnegie Diner and Cafe. The staff was friendly and helpful while the food was delicious. We enjoyed the music as well!

   The best breakfast in NYC. We went here on our first day in NYC, we booked a table in advance which we were so glad we did as there was a half our wait for tables. This place is popular so book. The food was delicious, amazing menu choices, the atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly. We loved it so much we went back on our last day to try more of the menu, again just as good and a highlight of our stay in NYC. Go hungry as the portion sizes are large :) Thank you Carnegie Team.

   Food here was really good! We had a wide variety of menu items - the kids had chocolate chip pancakes and eggs Benedict; the hubby a grilled chicken club, and I had the fish and chips. The hubby was least impressed with his club sandwich (the chicken was too dry and the sandwich needed some sort of dressing), but the kids and I loved what we ordered. We also had a giant cookie with ice cream and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The waitress was super efficient and friendly. The food and drinks were delivered quickly - we arrived at 5:40 and were out the door after dinner and dessert by 6:25 for our 7:00 show. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick but satisfying pre-show dinner.

   Nice casual meal. Corned Beef and Pastrami on point. My daughter says Tiramisu the best she has ever had.

    We had a reservation for 1:00p and did not get seated until almost 2:00p. What is the purpose of making a reservation when their process is to just put your name on another list when you show up on time and then are forced to wait almost an hour.
