Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”
Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. The menu features the freshest and finest local and imported products, with signature handcrafted dishes. Plates are based around traditional recipes found in the coastal towns of Naples, Taormina, Bari, Positano and Gaeta, and each is presented in a contemporary fashion. Bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list will complement this approach.

From the moment you walk in , you’re transported to a seaside brasserie on the amalfi coast!!! Just everything transports you, from the lobby to the outdoor terraces. Our experience was amazing and I can’t wait to return!!!

The reservation situation is very messy, you have to wait 20-30 minimum even though you have it booked for a certain time. We waited 35 mins even though we arrived right on time. The two seater tables are very very small , can only fit on plate in the middle and two small side plates. Service is very very bad and slow. Takes forever to order and for it to come. Their veal chop was extremely fatty, the pasta was good , the drinks take forever to come but they were good. The place wasn’t over priced, just the same as every Miami restaurant. The establishment looks nice, the bar tender at the front was very fast and efficient. Aside from that it’s waaay over hyped. Most definitely not going back.

From the service, to the food to the vibe everything was amazing! This is my 3rd time going and it was amazing. I def recommend.

It is beautiful but very over priced. When we go out to dinner, we like to order a drink and an appetizer or two. Then enjoy our first course without being pressured to put in the full order. When I requested this, the waitress announced that this was not possible and that the entire meal order had to be put in all at once. I negotiated a settlement where we did get our drinks and appetizers and the waitress was very nice about it, making an exception to the restaurant’s rule. We then ordered a main course. Frankly, I don’t go out to dinner to be put in situations like that in front of out of town guests, so unless this restaurant changes its policies, I will not be going back.

Absolutely beautiful venue on the water. Our food was delicious. We sat outside so we got to enjoy the good music from the dj as well as being waterside. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Food was amazing. The new desserts are a huge let down. Don’t get the mousse, it’s filled with mint and tastes and has the texture of toothpaste rather than being a desirable chocolate-mint mix. Everything else was great

Inside was freezing. Some dishes and drink simply disgusting. Better to go somewhere else.

The venue was beautiful and classy. The vibe was soothing. The service was very attentive and the food was utterly delicious. I want to go back and I want to do brunch at this magnificent place, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
