   I should have known that this wouldn’t be a great experience when less than 3 minutes after we placed our order, our food arrived. Our server said “that’s the fastest I’ve ever had plates come out.” And that was because our food had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. While tasty because of being drowned in a BBQ sauce, my rack of ribs were dry, like they had been sitting back there under a heat lamp for hours. Pretty disappointing. From that point on, it felt like we were rushed by the server. We finished our meal and had only one drink each and left. It’s more of a sports bar than a restaurant, which is ok, but wasn’t what we were looking for or expecting. Doubt we’ll be going back anytime soon.

   Unfortunately our soup was cold and so was the dinner. We had to send it back.

   Had booked here on open table for a birthday dinner for myself and some friends. We were sat and a card signed by the staff was waiting for us at the table. We thought it was the cutest thing ever!!! We’ve never seen that done before. What a fun little surprise. As always good and service was amazing!!!

   Promptly seated at 7 as we had made a reservation. Recommended to do so as many people waiting for a table. Food was excellent and our server was attentive and did a great job. Will definitely return

   We had never been to the Cask & Pig and we were blown away! We had the burnt ends, ribs, butternut squash ravioli, and the harvest salad and all of it was excellent. Cool vibe, high energy and all the extra touches like cornbread and whipped butter when you arrive, sangria by the pitcher and great service made it special. It's our new favorite place!

   This is our third try, all have been failures. Our waitress Megan was awesome. The food however, not so much. The “burnt ends” were chunks of pork, nothing even close to burnt ends. The steak tip dinner was good, nothing remarkable, but still good. The ribs were ok, the grits were outstanding, but the street corn….I can’t believe they would send something so disgusting out of the kitchen. It’s safe to say, after 3 chances, we won’t be back.

While we're happy to hear you enjoyed the grits and found the steak tips good, we’re disappointed we didn’t deliver the consistently great experience you deserve.
