    Steak came out rare instead of medium rare then sent back and it came back overcooked. It was re-made and still was rare. No celebration for our anniversary. My dish had too much butter. Waitress did not come back around to ask for another round of drinks.

    I've been to Catch LA a dozen time in the last decade. I'm a big fan of the place and often bring oversea friends and clients there. Food is amazing. Ambiance phenomenal. Cocktails delicious. But you really feel like they want to rush you at the door. Apps arrived within minutes (I guess that's fine, although we were there as friends to catch up for a nice dinner, not eat ASAP.) They came with the dessert menu as we were still waiting for some food. The second time they came with the dessert menu, we still had food on the table, munching on their (delicious) truffle fries. They eventually cleaned up the table, leaving only 1 glass of wine a guest was still drinking, and a 1/2 opened bottle of sparkling water. We asked for 4 glasses just to make a point... There was clearly nobody waiting for our table at 10:30pm so it's part of the culture to rush people at the door. At >$200 / person, I would expect better. With that said, I'll likely be back but when in a rush! :)

    Ambiance and friendliness of staff were great. Food was amazing! Everything was delicious. Though the guys bringing out the food did not always say what the dish was or explain it… also all questions we asked them they were clueless.

    Ambiance was great! Beautiful setting with great picture opportunities! Vibe is fun! Our server, Tapley, was wonderful and very helpful! An excellent way to celebrate a birthday! Would come back again!
