Cathédrale is a French-Mediterranean restaurant by Tao Group Hospitality Chef/Partner Ralph Scamardella, in collaboration with Executive Chef Jason Hall (formerly of acclaimed restaurants like Gotham Bar & Grill, Anthos and Craft). The menu brings elemental, ingredient-driven cooking to the forefront, evoking the grandeur of the past while remaining contemporary in its execution. Dishes put pleasure over spectacle, taking inspiration from Southern France with traces of Italy, Spain and Greece as seen in our signature Potato Chip Omelette, Black Truffle Fettuccine, 14oz Entrecôte Au Poivre, as well as our 48 oz Mishima Reserve Wagyu Tomahawk.

    All reservations require a deposit of $10 per person, regardless of the party size. This deposit will be taken off of the final bill at the end of your visit. Dress to impress! If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, we ask that you do so by 10pm the day prior in order to receive a refund by emailing nycathedraleinfo@taogroup.com. Any cancellations made after 10pm will not be eligible for a refund. Please let us know in advance if your party decreases. Please note that all reservations have a 90 minute dining limit due to high demand. We will try our best to accommodate seating preferences or general requests but they are not guaranteed. We look forward to serving you!

    Whether you’re celebrating romance or friendship, Cathédrale, the French-Mediterranean gem by Chef Jason Hall and Tao Group Hospitality, will be offering its a la carte menu and specials all Valentine’s/Galentine’s Week as well as a special $110 prix-fixe menu designed for two or more featuring: ½ dozen oysters per person, The signature Epi Baguette with Rotisserie Drippings, Filet Mignon and Halibut, The show-stopping Mamie Chocolate Mousse, a decadent blend of Cacao Barry Dark Chocolate, hazelnut praline, and fleur de sel. Exclusive specials like a Raviolo al Uovo with ricotta, spinach, and black trumpet mushrooms ($39), and a delicate Rose Macaron with raspberry lychee compote and rose ganache ($19), will also be available.

    Table wasn’t ready at the reservation time, very cramped seating. Hostess was busy on her phone when we arrived and didn’t really look up to acknowledge us when we arrived.

    Entrees delicious. We had the artichoke appetizer which lacked flavor. The tomato appetizer was marginal. The octopus delicious. Lots of staff and we had to ask 3 times to have our plates cleared. Pretty space. Too loud for conversation.

    This is a cute spot but the food is overpriced. The ambiance is cute. We had a great waiter at first and someone else took over he didn’t introduce himself and it was awkward. Left a weird taste in our mouth. The drinks were strong and the food was decent.

    The photos of the interior make it look way chicer than reality. I only had apps and drinks and the food was super bland.

    Amazing restaurant from vibe, service, and food. I arrived late to my reservation and the staff made it work smoothly to get me a table right away. The omelette with caviar was very tasty and filling. The rigatoni with lobster was amazing with a solid amount of lobster. I enjoyed the king prawns but with it could've brought a couple more prawns. Ambiance was great restaurant was good but I felt I had my own space. Solid drinks as well.
