Cedar + Elm is the heart of The Lodge at St. Edward State Park, a beautifully restored landmark hotel peacefully tucked away in a lush 326-acre forest just 30 minutes from Seattle.

Led by Executive Chef Luke Kolpin (Formerly of Noma and Bravo's Top Chef), Cedar + Elm’s menu is inspired by the undeniable spirit of the region we’re proud to call home. Every ingredient, flavor, and method of preparation is infused with an anchored authenticity. The bounty of each season informs our direction, culminating in familiar and approachable dishes with refined presentations and bold flavors.

Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, or brunch, for an inspired Pacific Northwest dining experience. We also feature live music in our Tonsorium Bar Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as all night happy hour Sunday through Thursday!

Experience the best of the bounty of each season through thoughtful renderings of Northwest cuisine with his signature Nordic touch, taken from years at restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen. Let us guide you through 5 courses of meticulously plated offerings, leaving nothing to be desired. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if any dietary restrictions or allergies need to be accommodated. Optional wine pairings are $65 per person. The tea was lovely. Each item was beautifully presented. Live music was a treat. I wish there had been a difference in the sandwiches besides filling. Everything was a two bite item and I’ve never walked away from tea and still could eat more until now.

While I'm grateful to have been able to have a gluten free afternoon tea experience, my friend was NOT gluten free and did not want gluten free food. The restaurant tried to accomodate the mistake by bringing her a small plate, but it was only 5 small items. They were all savory items, no sweet cakes. She had to ask for scones. I wish she could have eaten the "regular" menu as the offerings looked more impressive in volume and quality. The gluten free sandwiches were toasted but lacked flavor and honestly filling. There was more bread than cucumber filling on one sandwich. As this was afternoon tea, I really expected gluten free scones and was disappointed with just crackers instead. My favorites were the small cakes and mushroom stuffed endive. For this price, I expected more volume of options, fillings and better quality food. The service, ambiance and tea was good but probably won't go again.

We had a pleasant experience having breakfast. The server was polite and friendly. We enjoyed the food and did not mined the high price to have a quality food. However we were surprised by an extra culinary charge! There should have been an explanation of this frivolous charge.

Outstanding experience in a boutique hotel nestled in a state park. The food was sublime! Every morsel was incredible. The wine pairings were perfectly matched.

Christmas Eve prix fix menu exceeded our expectations. Every course we'll prepared and tasty Service excellent. Lodge decorated nicely inside and out, but restaurant devoid of decor, a tiny bit of a letdown

Love this place but was hoping for a more holiday festive vibe. Also, the portion sizes for the prices was quite disappointing. Lucky none of us were super hungry or we might have had to run down to a Starbucks after for a quick add on.
