   We recently dined at Charley’s Steakhouse, and while the service was great, the food and presentation didn’t justify the high price. Upon arriving the booth seats at our table was dirty with crumbs. The Old Fashioned tasted good but was served in a sticky glass. The crab cakes lacked flavor, the bacon-wrapped scallops were chewy, and the salads and cheese bread were uninspired. My husband’s steak was cooked properly, but my salmon was overcooked and bland. The lobster mac and cheese was just okay. Desserts were a mixed bag—cheesecake was delicious, but the chocolate cake was dry. We expected more flavor, care in presentation, and attention to detail. Our final bill came to roughly $380 before tip, and for that price, I expected far more—better flavors, thoughtful presentation, and an elevated dining experience. While the server and staff were attentive and pleasant, the food and overall experience didn’t justify the cost. I can find similar quality elsewhere for less than half the price. Charley’s Steakhouse had the potential to impress, but unfortunately, it left us feeling underwhelmed.

   The service from all staff was amazing. The food was delicious. Definitely go with the lobster tail!!!

   Charley’s is my husband’s favorite restaurant by far for his birthday so we have been too many times to count at this point! We went last night and the service was not up to the normal standard. It was lagging and didn’t meet the Charley’s standard. Food was great as always except for my steak originally being overcooked. They took care of it immediately so no complaint from me as things happen! All in all a great experience but when the server advised that he had been there 2 months the service experience made more sense. In the future, I’ll ask for one of our regular servers.

   I love the extra attention to details for special occasions such as the birthday card, meatballs & ice cream. The food and servers were great as usual.

   Another exceptional dinner at Charley's - as always above expectations! Our server and his team were spot on with our party of 8. The wines and cocktails are very generous pours - try the cherry whiskey sour or chocolate martini. The food was delicious and cooked exactly how ordered. We tried a few new dishes/options - like the Bison Ribeye, Chicken Breast, and the Chef's Featured Filet. Can't miss with the traditional Filet Mignon. Just about all raved on the bison - our server's description was super accurate - flavorful and tender! The lobster mac & cheese and au gratin side dishes elevate the meal with a creamy texture and cheesy taste of ingredients - this isn't your mom's mac and cheese or potatoes! We even tried a few sauces although the meat needs nothing else... everyone loved the peppercorn, but my fav is the bearnaise. Nobody wants to skip dessert no matter how full, and the creme brulee is a showstopper so it's always part of our meal. We are so thankful that Charley's in Tampa is part of the restaurant scene - a great place, superior food, at a fair price, with exceptional service and ambiance! Love this place!

   I had dinner with my husband for post New Years' eve dinner. I came early for my 7pm reservation. The concierge gentlemen was very nice. We literally waited more than 15 minutes to see our server Michael. And for some reason everything we this server you literally have to wait just to order. We already know what we wanted after he showed the different steaks. We had to wait awhile to just give our order and you can't even find him. I got really upset because I saw a couple who got sitted across our table, different table who just came in was already enjoying their salad and bread. The salad, bread, and our Ribeye was delicious but the service ruined our night. This is my 3rd time at Charleys and this by far the worst service.
