Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe. Charley’s has been recognized with numerous awards including “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, DiRōNA and Orlando Magazine’s“ Best Steak House & Best Old Favorite”.     We usually go to Charlies every year for our Anniversary and mine and my wife's birthdays and enjoy the occasion. Never was disappointed. This time the quality of the Porter house was not good; it was more like a New York strip with not much of the filet part. Wife didn't want to wait longer for a redone. Had our German Sheppard in a kennel. Additionally, we had 2 servers taking our request. One was arrogant and his comments seemed abrasive. I am not sure if we visit Charley's again, the management must have changed. I know their prices has increased, so the waiter tried to tell us that "Porter house comes in different sizes" in an argumentized way. If I pay $78 for a porter house, I expect a better choice.

    From the moment you walk into Charley’s you are welcomed warmly. The ambiance is lovely and the waitress/servers were all wi deal.. friendly and attentive. Julie was especially gracious and fun. Highly recommend Charley’s to everyone.

    We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a couple of friends at Charley's and had a perfect evening. Food, Ambiance, and Service were all top-notch! Looking forward to our next visit there.

    An Unforgettable 1st Anniversary at Charley’s Steakhouse We celebrated our one-year anniversary at Charley’s Steakhouse, and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff was welcoming and attentive, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The Wagyu Ribeye was the star of the show honestly cooked to perfection with incredible tenderness and flavor and the truffle butter on top! Wow Every bite was absolutely exquisite! You can’t forget about dessert the butter cake is simply divine..rich, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious..you won’t regret that decision. Huge thanks to the chefs and staff for making our celebration unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

    This restaurant did not disappoint and been very professional. The service was outstanding! The food is excellent. We will continue to visit Charley’s Steakhouse and can’t wait to visit at their new location once it’s complete!

    Everything was great as always! I made a reservation on Open Table for two and seated in a booth in the bar area. Our table was ready and exactly where we like to sit. Anthony, our server, was great! We enjoyed the escargot, a rib eye, a filet along with the lobster Mac and cheese, SO delicious. Finally finished with a dessert drink, an espresso martini 👍🏻 We can’t wait to go back!

    As always, the service and food quality were outstanding. We have been to Charley's for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations and they never fail to impress. We think it is the best restaurant in Tampa by far and possibly in the entire state. Simply magnificent.
