   Food and overall vibe were excellent. Definitely more than what I expected. Went to celebrate a birthday, so we did the buffet brunch with the bottomless mimosa experience. I love that the buffet has servers, so people are not serving themselves as that is so unsanitary. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because our server was slow at first with the bottomless mimosas and didn’t ask which type of juice we preferred and brought out OJ and we had to ask if we could have something else. Once we spoke with her about the flow and other juices, it was corrected. The host Terrell and hostess OShay (sp) and Leah were Top Tier. I definitely will return and recommend Chemistry to my clients, family and friends.

   Made reservation and was told at the door the reservation wasn't valid nor required. I was also asked at the door if I was eating or drinking which I didn't like. Of course I'm eating/drinking, which is why we're here. I was told to pay $89 for buffet that didn't include any alcohol beverages. I then went to the bar and order 2 Woodfords on the rocks and my bill totaled $54.30. That's ridiculous for 2 basic drinks. I asked for a receipt and the 2 drinks were $20 each. They then charged a 20% gratuity fee that was not advertised anywhere, 5% entertainment fee. I have no clue what the entertainment was for the afternoon. In addition, I still left an additional tip. I was very dissatisfied with the service provided. This is a basic restaurant in Hyde Park and the excessive fees were an overkill. I will not be returning and will be disputing those extra fees with my credit card company.

   The for was good. My husband and I shared an appetizer and entree with bread a a cocktail $165. The ambience was niece but the unedited rap music was extremely loud . We are 50 + years old so we were looking for something a little more classy due to us having to dress up. We went on a Saturday night. Not sure how it is on other nights

   This was my first time at Chemistry. I likeve that the servers wore lab coats, and the cook decor with dry ice or drinks with dry ice. We sat for a while before we got water and our order was taken but after that the food came out fast. My steak was good but the veggies were cold that come with NY Strip I think maybe table side show is why they are cold but the steak was perfect, the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were delicious! There was a lot of waiting so that's why I removed a star but overall I would go again it was a beautiful venue and very black black blacky black which I LOVED

   A little scared about the bad reviews at first but I have to say they were proven to be wrong. We enjoyed the food, and the upbeat vibe. Enjoyed the lemon drop flight, and airline chicken!

    Took my guy friend here besides us getting a good table for two everything else was great !! He truly enjoyed himself . He said the atmosphere n and the entertainment for sure .
