My two girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cheng Du, our first time there. Food was great, good value. Ambience was VERY quiet, which was great although we were probably the loudest people in the place. Our server did hover a bit more than we would have liked, but she was attentive and friendly - no complaints!

We made a last minute Saturday night reservation to Cheng Du, and when we arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later, the manager told us that the reservation had mistakenly gone through. There were NO tables available, and there was a 1.5 hour wait for a table. But the manager was amazingly professional and clearly cared about making Open Table's mistake right, and had us seated less than 20 minutes later - and then proceeded to take our order and serve us herself! The food was excellent, a step up from usual Asian fare - clearly not your average "Chinese take-out" joint. We got both sushi and items off traditional Chinese food menu - both very good. The kids enjoyed their meals, also - beef teriyaki and noodles, chicken and rice.

Nice choice between Chinese on one side or Japanese on the other side. You can order either one or both from anywhere. Service was a bit slow and several dished were far too cold when they finally arrived. The Japanese skewers were a great buy and delicious.

This was a special event for my mom's 60th bday. The restaurants owner kept checking in on us making sure the servers were getting food out fast enough (which they were) The ambiance is amazing the place is completely renovated and beautiful. the perfect spot for a date night! oh and the food especially the shrimp tempura is fo fresh very light and taste wonderful!

I made a reservation at Cheng Du for 8/30 in celebration of my boyfriend's 35th b-day. I hadn't dined at Cheng Du in yrs & wasn't sure what to expect. Our experience there surpassed our expectations! We had a wonderful time, the food was amazing & the service excellent! We will definitely be going there again!

Best lunch special in the area. Can't beat it. $8.95. Pick 1 app, 2 Entrée, and 1 rice or lo mien dish, and soup. Food is made to order rather than from a pot of premade offerings. Eat lunch there at least once a month.

My eleven year old son asked if we could go to Cheng Du after catching a movie together. I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in the front door. We were greeted by welcoming smiles and an earnest appreciation that we had chosen Cheng Du to have dinner. Atmosphere was stylish, comfortable without feeling you were having dinner with the table next to you. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and service was brilliant. Great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Worth the trip. Food was excellent, atmosphere elegant and relaxing, staff was courteous and gracious. A new favorite! Lemon chicken, beef hunan, were most delicious, cannot comment on the other 7 dishes served, as the rest of the group of nine were not willing to share, but there were happy, smiling faces all around.
