Chez Delmo first opened in 1934. Today, the restaurant remains in hommage to the original owners Delisle and Morissette (Delmo) and continues to be a favourite for regulars and visitors alike.
Just minutes away from the Notre Dame Basilica in the Old Port, Chez Delmo continues to serve fresh and premium quality seafood prepared in a traditional French style combined with a modern flair. The house specialty is the Dover Sole meunière and the classic tomato cream soup which have been virtually unchanged for decades.

This was a five star dinner experience from start to finish - warm welcome, professional and friendly service, very comfortable seating with perfect spacing from other tables. Many local patrons which is a good sign. Most importantly, this is a foodie heaven with delicious seafood - try the calamari, lobster roll, salmon tartare and Canadian walleye swimming in butter. All veggie sides such as the mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were yummy as well. We also enjoyed the crisp and perfectly chilled Chablis as well as fresh banquette with the tasty house tomato soup. Maple syrup dessert a la mode satisfied our sweet tooth. Highly recommend and will be back!

Merci à David et son collègue pour l’excellent service et attention donnée. Et bien entendu merci pour le repas qui était exquis avec la soupe aux carottes et les raviolis homardines, le tout accompagné d’un bon petit Chablis. Au plaisir de se revoir. Michel Lalonde

There’s literally nothing to detriment about my experience. Unless you dislike friendly, knowledgeable waiters and a nice, peaceful ambience where the food is fresh and perfectly seasoned???
