    Food was excellent, however among the four of us me entree came 5 minutes behind everyone else's. Excepting that, very happy.

    What memorable and fantastic meal. We were seated close to the kitchen and got to watch the magic happen. Please get the pumpkin seed hummus. Thank you Douglas for your wonderful service.

    This was our 2nd time eating at Chica. Once we ate at the bar (as we didn't have reservations) and this time we ate in the dining room. We ate at lunch, so we ordered off the lunch/brunch menu. We had: Pressed Juice: Turmeric Tonic -- Turmeric, ginger, lemon, black pepper. Very good. I was a little concerned about the black pepper in a juice drink, but there was not a lot, and it was actually an enhancement and not at all strange. Nothing Rhymes With Orange -- Cantaloupe, Carrot, Orange, ginger. Good. Sides: Papas Bravas -- Cotija cheese, Pecan Salsa Macha. This was very good, a lot, so definitely shareable. Everyone liked it. Tacos: Quesa-Birria Tacos -- braised brisket, Oaxacan cheese, consomme. These are the BEST brisket tacos I have ever had in my life. HIGHLY recommend. I'd eat these every day if I could. Jut absolutely fantastic. GET THESE TACOS! Fried Fish Tacos -- Crispy Mahi, Oaxacan aioli, salsa criolla, blue corn tortilla. Though I didn't taste these, the person who had them really enjoyed them and thought the fish was very well prepared. Definitely recommend Chica!
