   Anita was our server and she was excellent! She gave great insight into the menu, her suggestions were spot on and she was very kind. We went Valentine’s weekend and all the ladies received a rose upon entering the restaurant. So sweet and truly set the ambiance. The food was well seasoned and served in a timely manner. Portion sizes are average even for the shared dishes but definitely fed us fine. There were no leftovers. Great date night! We will return and refer others!

   First time dining at The ChopHouse and it was excellent! We enjoyed the prix fixe menu during Restaurant Week although the regular menu was also available. The service was friendly, professional and timed perfectly. The food was perhaps our best ever… salmon, filet mignon and chicken parmigiana. It was a lovely family night for us and we hope to return soon.

   We made reservations about a month in advance and were really looking forward to it. This was a birthday dinner and mentioned in the reservation. First, we were seated on the other side of the bar area, which was very loud, we could't even talk and hear each other sitting across the table. After 15-20 minutes we were moved. At no point in that time we saw or were greeted by our server. At the new table, it was another 10-15 minutes before our server came over. No proper greeting - the whole experience felt very awkward and like we were an inconvenience. We didn't know 'restaurant week' was taking place and ended up ordering from the special menu. We had Caesar and the wedge salad - both great. Prime rib and chicken Parm were both good, as well as the sides, mushrooms and whipped potatoes. For dessert only the flour less cake was available which was delicious! Portion sizes were big, so we were taking left-overs home. Part of our food was not put in our to-go bag, which we didn't realize until the next day. There was no acknowledgement of a 'happy birthday'. Also, for the special menu, automatic 22% tip was included. Which is not a problem, but the service we received did not warrant it. But if your tip is guaranteed, maybe you don't care if the service you give is still excellent. Ultimately a very disappointing experience for a restaurant of this caliber.

   The server was not personable and acted like he did not want to wait on us. The food was good, but not worth the price. Automatic tip added for a group of 4 for service that wasn’t worth it. Will not be going back

   It's a very nice restaurant with outstanding food and service. Be aware that this restaurant is very pricey and everything is ala carte so its easy to spend over $100 per person

    The food was outstanding, really outstanding, but the overall experience was significantly overshadowed by the fair/poor service. Our reservation was for 6:45. Due to the slow service we didn't leave until 9:30 pm. From the time we arrived, we sat for 20 minutes before anyone approached us. The host for the evening was aware that we were waiting for quite some time and at least took the initiative to fill our water glasses. It was nearly 10 more minutes before our waiter came to the table. He briefly introduced himself and took our drink orders. He showed no awareness and never once acknowledged that we had been waiting for nearly 30 minutes. We continued to wait all evening. Our waiter, in particular, also didn't exhibit any personality whatsoever. Other than taking our orders and providing boxes for our leftovers, he didn't inquire as to whether we liked our meal, would like drinks refilled, etc. We had to initiate those conversations including asking for our bill. Whether it is general policy or simply because we were a group of 6, a 22.5 percent tip was automatically added to our bill, which given the circumstances was absurd. The service from our waiter simply did not warrant that level of compensation. It should not take nearly 3 hours to enjoy a 3 course dinner.
