I highly recommend this exceptional Italian restaurant. The menu is quite unique, and the food is excellent. The service also is top notch -- (both Diana and Caroline are wonderful). Shall I also mention that they have a fantastic wine list. I personally love Italian restaurants, and Ciao Vino is at the top of my list for excellent Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. It definitely is in my top 2 favorite Italian restaurants in Las Vegas.

Veal parm at 60$ was avg. strip steak was better than average . Duck ravioli was had as an appetizer & was perfect . Service was attentive .. but after dinner coffee was brought out room temperature … excellent presentation on 34$ mini dessert pastries . They need to tone down the brightness but ambiance was clean and modern. Parking was not easy in the busy shopping area ….. I would come back to try other dishes but not in a hurry to . I used to rate for Zagat… 7 food, 7 service 7 ambiance

My wife and I had dinner at Ciao Vino on Dec. 5, 2024. This was our first time dining at this restaurant. At 7:15 pm, it was about 3/5ths full. Let me start by saying the service was outstanding throughout -- receptionist, waiter, food runner, and general manager. Regarding the food, I wish to offer some constructive criticisms. We began with Vitello Tonnato. The essence of this dish was excellent; the veal was perfect, and the tonnato sauce was very good. The sprinkle of capers was just right. However, to "enhance" this dish, a piece of rolled tuna sushi was added, and it conflicted with the sauce. Moreover (and worse), tiny spoonfuls of over-salty caviar was also added liberally and tendrils of dill, too. These enhancements utterly spoiled this magnificent classic recipe. Had they not been incorporated, the Vitello Tonnato would have been superb. My wife had the Smokey Eggplant Parmesan. Alas, this dish had all the right ingredients, but its preparation was off. The breading was too thick for the pounded underlying eggplant, and the amount of parmesan cheese melted on top was ridiculous. My wife loves that cheese, but the had to remove at least half of it to taste anything else. Again, moderation in the use of breading and cheese would have resulted in a much more delicious dish. In marked contrast, my Lasagna was marvelous! Ciao Vino followed its classic recipe "to the letter" with ideal results. Lasagna should use bechamel sauce; it is not a vehicle for ricotta cheese. The spinach noodles were perfect, and the beef ragu was delicious as was the tomato sauce. The topping of mozzarella cheese was just the right amount. Frankly, I have never eaten better lasagna! Our Budino dessert was delightful. Despite my criticisms, I look forward to eating at this restaurant again because I think it has great potential. I am hopeful that the chef and the manager will take my criticisms seriously because they are warranted and made with good intent.

Dinner on Thanksgiving, first time at this restaurant. Not a good day for reviewing, but some basic service flaws occurred that need to be mentioned. We ordered the set Thanksgiving meal. A soup, small pasta, turkey plate with stuffing and veggies, and dessert. Seated within 5 minutes of arrival and on time for our reservation. Greeted by our waitress, gave her name, welcome, and wished a Happy Thanksgiving. So far great. Ordered one glass wine for each. Her wine reasonable, a Riesling from Germany, my wine a blend from Europe, way overpriced. Retail bottle is $46.00 and glass was $25. A plus for excellent crystal wine glasses and the red wine was at a perfect temperature. After a 15 minute wait, we still don’t have bread ( saw it on nearby other tables) and don’t have our soups. Waitress comes over, says it should be soon and she brings us bread a a soup spoon for each of us. I could tell, that she is almost as frustrated as we are, and at 20 minutes after ordering, she goes into the kitchen and retrieved from under the heat lamps, our soups. ( I could see the heating shelves from our seats). The soups were excellent, but only warm.About 5 minutes after we finished our soup, a busboy that we had never seen before, asked to clear our plates. 5 minutes later, the same person brought out pasta dish. These were hot and also very good. Again, proper clearing and a few minutes later our main course plate. Turkey, moist and sliced fairly thick, but very tender. Mashed potatoes were in center of the plate, nearly cold, looked like placed there before the rest of the items. Turkey was tender, gravy in a small holder cup, was almost cold. Asparagus were cooked right, but again almost cold. It’s always difficult to judge for the first time on a holiday, but I feel that all of this was due to a lack of communication and coordination. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and designed, except that they should have a sign near the arched hallway to direct you to the restroom

We went for thanksgiving and we were very hopeful….We had heard good things. Service was average at best… honestly felt like our server wanted to be somewhere else. She never introduced herself… didn’t know her name. A party of 4……three had past and one had the turkey prefixe…yet it took forever for the food to arrive.. The pasta was without much flavor…. one had to be sent back because it was raw… The turkey dinner was good until we found the hair.. then it was done. The consensus at the table is it’s not a do again.
