Featuring fresh seafood delivered and prepared daily in our kitchen, City Oyster has a full sushi bar and a rotating selection of fresh oysters from the East and West Coast. Our bakery located above the restaurant provides all of our house made desserts, pies, bread, crackers and pasta. City Oyster has a large selection of wines by the glass and bottle –our list is recognized by Wine Spectator as one of the premier wine selections in the country. We also offer a large and rotating menu of craft and specialty beers on draft or in bottles. Located in the heart of Delray’s exciting shopping and dining district; our antique brick, high tin ceilings and oak wood floors provide a great atmosphere for a truly inspired meal.

    City Oyster is a reliable spot for dinner with a vibrant atmosphere and very good food. Though prices have risen precipitously there are some good values such as the fish and chips and linguine with clams. We prefer sitting outdoors where the noise level is subdued ( except for the crazy motorcyclists and hot rodders that blow your ears out for some reason). The bar scene is fun also. Super busy spot ( even on a Sunday night at 8) so reservations a must!

    Food consistently very good as is service. Noise level is a given making dining outdoors a must if you ant to have a conversation. Have been here several times and will continue.

    Service is good, our waitress was very pleasant but he girl at the door was rude. We got there just on time for our reservation, and she told us to wait “outside” because there were no tables available yet!

    My niece and I had a very nice night and dinner. Our server John was exceptional and Tabitha at the bar was just lovely.

    Not just for oysters! My sisters were visiting from out of town and don’t like oysters, didn’t want to go, I made them go and we all had the best meal- they had fish tacos and I had seared ahi tuna. I also had oysters which were fresh and delicious. The Brussels sprouts side dish was great . Very noisy but fun atmosphere. My sisters want to go back again!

    Highly attentive staff.. seafood tower was exceptional.. as was the snapper special.. not enamored with the mussels… but the chocolate sorbet was superb… recommended overall
